I am a frequent goer of the official Atari Forums. Well, someone else there saw my signature advertising our mod and PMed me about a project he was also working on called Unofficial Chrono Trigger 2. This is not a remake of the original game, I believe, more like an unofficial sequel. They are, like the Ressurrection team, coding their own engine for the game. They have screenshots posted but they are from an older version of the engine. I think their project looks interesting, especially their SICK art style. I'll be keeping an eye on this one:

Lol, I too have seen this project. I really want to see some of their 3d work, and to see some music, as right now I don't know how much interest I should invest in them. But as with all projects, I can only wish them the best.

Whoa, I almost thought that this one would be better than your guys'. The original spritework mapped onto textures was really awesome I thought. But then I saw that they had "storywriters" and I was all WTF so holy SPAM it's a sequel! That automatically makes it lame as hell compared to this one. CTRP. Yeah.. I'm cracked out

I too have been following this project of there's for quite some time and as Chosker stated it has been around for quite a while. I would really like to see there project succeed and wish them the best of luck. I totally agree with you Knives the artwork created by Akisakura for the site is brillant.

Cheers,

Vash
