I was never a part of CTRP, but I have to admit it does sound like Square got the idea from all of you... and if that happened to me... I'd try to get back at them in the only way possible. Create a better game with an original storyline, with the help of a small game company and show them up...

I, personally, would be very happy if they released a CT remake using the Unreal engine. As long as they didn't mess up the game, that would accomplish the reason this entire community was founded.

Granted, the publicity that would have been gained for those who developed the game here, and the professional advantages it would have given them, would be lost. However, those can be obtained in other ways, for instance, like doing something like Rando said.

I think we all would be happy about it, brethren. We just think it would be peculiar if they took the CTRP's idea, seen?

If they did the game right, ya, I'd be happy too.


But really, lets look at the last 6 or 7 years. How much has SE done right?

Not much at all. XII was an improvment, and of course FFVII AC was a good move. Lets see what they do with XIII and the VII remake.

What do you know about a FFVII remake? As far as I know, that video they showed was only a tech demo, but you have better connections than I do. As for FFVII AC, good move? Yes. Good movie? No. It had awesome action, but the story blew.

Yea there will be no VII remake, it was just a tech demo, dream on.

Now FFVI is a game worth remaking...to hell with CT and FFVII :o!

VI is on its way to DS if it hasn't arrived yet. Ive been busy and sold my DS for the same reason as the games, needed the cash. plus ill get a DS lite next time. Anyways, if you guys wanna know, there is gonna be a cartrage for the DS where you can put an emulator on it and play games, much like what you can do with a PSP. also, unless PSPs will stick here as accessories for the PS3, they are pritty much dead. Companies have stopped carrying/makeing spare parts for them. Plus sony has a bad return/repair policy. You would have to have a warranty through some 3rd party company thats good to get your PSP fixed or replaced. So if you were looking on something FF comming out for the PSP, dream on.

FFVI is coming out on the GBA advance, a few new summons and a new area, hardly a remake.

Also the PsP...lolz

i agree with galidan psp is a cheap remake of the ps1 only portable more expensive and the games suck more than the mango on a saturday night (no affense mango)

wooo mango wtf do you have against me not everyone likes the psp (if thats what its about) if not then your a peice a SPAM that even a fly wouldnt touch now back to my discovery of ct i dont know how i didnt see it but theres another option called new game+ witch basicly you go on a game that was already saved and starts it over with every item lvl etc etc well after awile when you get to the teleporter part i keep seeing one of those anoying flashing star item things so i touch it and now im haveing a one on one fight with lavos and by the way im doing very porly
