man up and stop crying, gamecubes are like $40 used.

while in a way completely ignoring mango's comment on the matter, u seem to fail to realize the shortage of money at my disposal, i've can only save up maybe like 50 bucks in like 1 whole month, with just change, not only that but my smash bros. game disc was in the gamecube, tried getting a job, sent in like 4-5 applications, all either denied me or just didnt call, could it be cuz im a minority living in Hick kingdom?, heh maybe, but still, point is. i cant replace it anytime soon.

If it makes you feel any better someone broke into my house in New Orleans and stole my DS. My Nintendogs game was in it too. Poor Ifrit...

if i ever lost my DS, that would be even more devastating, not just because i love it to death and cherish it more than almost anything i have. lol, but because it was a gift from a special girl who bought it for my last b-day (DS Lite) and if i ever lost it, i dunno how i'd be able to look at her anymore, i'd feel so guilty, and thanks guys to those who offered their gratitude.

GmMontex03 - December 21, 2006 04:36 AM (GMT)
You guys realize that the PSP is not going to be made anymore starting next year. The reason is because Sony lost a bit too much on it. Eventhough the system might have sold well, the games are easily copyable and you dont even need the game anymore. therre is ways to put the game on your mem stick and you dont have to worry about loosing the game. Even movies stopped comming out on UMD.

It was an awesome system for a handhold but they did not use it to its full advantage FOOLS!

Magus5311 - December 21, 2006 08:14 PM (GMT)
I use it for pictures / mp3s / Chrono Trigger / Secret of Mana

I'm happy.

PSP > DS Imho

PSP should have won over the DS from an analytical perspective, but the DS has been raping it year in and year out. Kinda like Game Gear compared to Gameboy.

Or could it be Nintendo is just more creative at handheld games?

propagator4 - December 22, 2006 04:30 AM (GMT)
I think the latter. Apparently there were more DS sales in Japan on PS3 release day than there were PS3 and PSP sales. Put together.

Nintendo has never lost a handheld war.

Galidan - December 22, 2006 07:24 AM (GMT)
Nintendo has dealt with all sorts of competition in handhelds and never broke a sweat, so it makes sense that they would pound Sony when they came out to play.

Everything must be defeated sooner or later

Nintendo knows what they're doing. Sony is like sega or any other company that has tried hand helds. The games might rock better than nintendos, but thats bout it. sure the PSP might have had better features and stuff, but for the most part, the DS spans more age groups and you can also play games from way back when on it. PSP orriginally was going to play PS1 games, but they changed the format to something more modern that would hold up better, thus thats why the system was released years after the first concept designs. Instead, Sony made the PS1, a smaller, more stable version of the PSX that playes the same games. For the PS1 there is a 5 inch screen that you can buy to attatch to the back and a battery pack to make it portable for a few hours of play, like a normal cd player. You still had to use controlers with the cable unles you had a wireless controler.they're is also a 5 inch screen that matches your PS2, XBOX, and Game Cube along with some other accessories. Battery pacs would weigh alot and cost a bit if those styles were made though.

like gm said, nintendo knows what they're doin, they've been in the business for years and years, and not only do they have more games for different age groups, but they are quite compelling, innovative, and very fun. PSP on the other hand, well its just the same thing as the psx, its nothing new, its just a small portable multimedia version of a psx. thats all sony is doing, they are just using the same methods over and over again trying to please the same crowd with the same exact things. it'll work yea but only to a certain point.
