Hey guys. I've gotten pretty addicted to this game, so I thought I'd let you in on it. Ragnarok, in case you don't know, is a MMORPG... a rather popular one actually. It was once an official, free online MMORPG, however, eventually, the company that produced it started charging. Fans however, bypassed this by creating their own PRIVATE servers for the game. Thus you can play the game for free.

First off, and this isn't even required, you might want to join the site created by the owner of the server which is called Prime-Society. Who knows, you might be interested in what the site has to offer, afterall. They like to hear some feedback, I'm sure they'd appreciate it if you posted a bit on their forums or something. To actually obtain and play the game, you need to go to the seperate forums for the game itself, and download all the necessary things. In all, the entire download should be about 2 gigs... but the download speed is pretty fast. If you have cable, it'll probably take an hour total. Follow the instructions on THIS page to get everything set up.

After that, you're all set. You can start playing.

I have two characters at the moment. A High Wizard named "Apocalypse" and a Hunter named "FATE". Have fun. ;)

*p.s. It is rumoured, that once Ragnarok 2 comes out, that will also be available here.*

Ehh the Lineage 2 free servers are better.. I'm not a fan of ragnorok online ;p

Dude you sure those files are good? I got both of em, and no mater what button i hit, it closes.

...did you follow the guidelines EXACTLY? Did you install the correct one first? Did you apply the patch? Look over the directions once more, and try again. The files worked faultlessly for me even on the first try. Good luck, and if you REALLY can't figure it out, it probably wouldn't hurt to ask for help on their forums. They'd doubtlessly be able to trouble-shoot better than I. ;)

Actually it won't even install. lol. It exits when i click the button. And I did ask at the forums, the guy is totally clueless.

i looked at Blade Mistress earlier and you only get to select a female and 1 of 4 faces, and 1 or 4 pants and 1 of 4 shirts, so not much there. so i didnt get alot of freedom. I'm currently trying oz world and turf battles

Seems you were pretty unlucky. The site owner was moving stuff to a new (and better) server. I guess that happened while you were downloading it.
