To PSP Developers & Game Designers,IntroductionHello this is Mangus from Illfoundedmind Production Studio. If you are an aspiring PSP Developer or Game Designer that wants to develop video games then you should take a moment to read this document.
AboutIllfoundedmind Production Studio is an online collaboration team that is developing homebrewed video games for Sony PSP. All our work is open source and free of charge for anyone who is interested in PSP development and our games. All of our communication is done online through different media: online forums, live chat, email, and a online hard drive. You could describe us a group of cells in various regions of the world all working for one common purpose: “to make PSP games.” We currently have 30+ members and we are looking for more. The way it works now is that the directors assign individual members a task for the week and they are expected to complete it. Afterwards we meet in a live chat session and discuss the assignments.
Available Positions (Meeku’s Quest: Beyond the Gateway)Beta TesterWork to debug and play early demos of the game and report any malfunctions, improvements, repairs, or modifications that you think should be made. This position also allows you to work along side with the programming team to repair bugs in the game.Concept ArtistWork to develop concept art for characters, backgrounds, monsters, towns, weapons and items. These artworks will also be used in the game for things such as loading screens, character profiles, icons, etc).Pixel ArtistWork to create characters, monsters, maps, and effects through the use of pixels. As well as collaborate with the team of artists to produce efficient and spectacular pixel art.ProgrammerWork to program in the Lua scripting language for Sony PSP. Your role could range from coding sections of the battle engine, menu systems, collision detection, graphics, etc. You will also collaborate with the programming team to achieve maximum speed and efficiency in your code.ProducerWork behind the scenes on promotion, storyline, character, and dialog. This would be a position for the more thinking, reading, and writing skilled individuals.Sound ComposerWork to create compelling music and sound effects (in MIDI format) that will be used in the game. You would be expected to work along side the sound director in this process.OtherIf you think of a particular talent you have that can help then please inform us and we may find a unique role for you.Contact admin@illfoundedmind.com if you are interested in joining or have any questions and post a reply to this thread.

Sadly, my PSP is 2.01, so can't homebrew til they come up with a downgrade for 2.01 or something else >.<
But yeah, if that happens I could beta test...
Dont think I have the time for anything else though :P
Gwahha, maybe pixel art >.< But I doubt I'd have time =X

What ever happened to this site and this project? Shut down by Square (like all the chrono trigger remakes)?
Well as long as you don't update there is hope. There is homebrewed apps running on 2.0+ right now (www.psp-hacks.com)
Now -- I know- you want to do some pixel art :P, are you any good?
Could be really fun :D and the Dev team needs helps, and you would get credited for your work..
