Gyroscope enabled!

it has a USB plugin at the top, with also another port, which is unknown to me. also there is a cartridge/memory card (unkown atm) slot at the back. with 2 L buttons, one R button and a Z button where R2 is supposed to be. WiFi ready, Gyroscope built in (like the gameboy colour), and much more features such as a microphone on the left bottom end and a headphone jack. The screen is NOT touch screen sadly :(. but atleast there is a touchpad! Touchpad is customizable for 6-20 different buttons, all depending on either the quadrants of the button to set, or the pressure used when the player presses down. The screen is perfect for multiplayer games, where each character only sees his/her character, rather than having split screen. The price of the controller is baffling, for it will launch at only 59.99 Canadian a piece! the top will have faceplate customization, just like the Game boy micro. there is also an extension at the right for later announcements of accessories, such as Video Digital Camera etc.

More pictures of the controller ( and later on the system) coming soon to a CTRP forums near you!

ps.if you can't already guess this is fake, then please note it is fake. thats why its in the art forum and im just making mock ups for fun

 so... is the Revolution a hand held?... or are they trying to do something like what the dreamcast had, or the connectablity the GC and GBA had together?

BrownMan - July 5, 2005 04:34 PM (GMT)
all of that into one! muahaa!

...whew, I am REALLY glad that's a fake controller. For a minute there, I was scared to death that Nintendo was abandoning all those nice ergonomic curves that made my GameCube controller so comfy. Plus, look how awkwardly the A and B buttons are situated above the touchpad...I'd have to hold the controller diagonally every time so my right thumb could reach them.

Other than that, though, nice work Brown. You had me fooled...LOL. Cool Revolution logo, too. ;)

 aye I'm a gullable @&*#$ some times. Nice one brown.

I find it doubtful that Nintendo would release the first picture of their controller on a piece of particleboard.

BrownMan - July 6, 2005 02:40 PM (GMT)
its not a particle board, its my computer desk :0
oh well!

You know Brown, I bet if you tried suggesting that this was Nintendo's newest version of the Game Boy, then more people would believe it. Just erase the "Revolution" logo and put something like "Game Boy Extreme" or "Game Boy Epic" there, and poof--instant handheld! ;)

Oh wait, I forgot--it would need speakers too, in order to qualify as a handheld. You should try putting some below the touchpad.

lol ok. will be doing that in Version 2!

also side, back and different angles will be up soon

Haha, Brownman, I think your desk may be made of particleboard then.

What fine detective work I do sometimes.
