Title: The Entity
Description: Who's The Entity, at last?

I'm starting this thread to gather all opinions about who or what is The Entity. Of course, many of you have already talked about that, but this subject needs a whole thread, right?

What I believe is that (I'm going to disappoint you) The Entity does not exist. It's just an explanation the characters give about why all this happened. It's mentioned only once and I don't think that the Chrono Trigger staff had something really serious about it, I mean I think they just mentioned it.

When you have to resurrect Crono, Belthasar talks about three entities that will help you climb the Death Peak. There is an entity like this in Enhasa I think, on a bed, asking you if you believe in fate. I think you already knew that.

But there is something not so visible in the Kingdom of Zeal, too. Both in Enhasa and Kajar, there are three books: one of water, one of wind and one of fire. If you open them in this order (and leave them open): water, wind, fire you will see a secret passage. The one in Enhasa leads to a Nu (well, six Nus to be exact :P). The one in Kajar leads to a room with a little creature like the three entities on Death Peak.

There's also something even less visible. If you play the game with ZSNES emulator (as I did), you can see something else. If you go to Enhasa, behind the table with the book of fire, you can see a man. If you disable some layers, you can see that there's a creature like these entities on the table. It is not visible normally, only if you disable some layers. I haven't figured out why it is there, since nobody mentions it, you can't talk to it (I'm not sure abou that, but I tried many times).

I'm waiting for your opinions, about The Entity, or what I mentioned about these little entities.

Probably as space filler. There's an invisible Nu between Masa and Mune at the Ocean Palace. Programmers used whatever sprite was on hand to do that sometimes.

The most likely Entity candidate is the planet. Someone had to make those Gates.

Why do they have to use a space filler?

To prevent the character from walking somewhere without having to edit the actual level. For instance, a big, fat Melchior is in the black Omen.

Ok. So, what is your opinion about The Entity?

 Huh? Where? Can you post or pm me a screenshot of that? (Sorry for being off topic)

A Tribute to Alfador...

Yeah... You can tell how good I am with graphics... :P

On-topic: I think the Entity is Fate (not to be confused with the computer in Chrono Cross). Don't ask me why...

The entity pilots the REAL vehicle of time.
