On 3/11 there will be a forum about what to have on the WTC site. It's about saying what could happen in the future of the WTC site. I heard that this would be about making of the long term perspective of the current proposals. My comment on this is that the idea for building on the WTC site must be long term. This is said to involve the key decisions on the WTC site though I will probably be doubting that knowing that the LMDC will refuse to listen to people like us. For those who would be attending this forum, the location is at 66 West 12th St at the New School, and yes that is actually the name of the place. This might be important to say that the LMDC should think long term and that means getting back the Twins.
At the forum it was by pannelist but more college then the LMDC though they presented things that were almost similar to what the LMDC by comparing NYC to other cities primarily Europe. We all know that NYC is nothing like Europe. The cities they used to compare were Berlin, Munich, Barcelona, and Copenhagen. Of course we all know that lower Manhattan is nothing like those cities. I got to mention that at many of the previous hearings held by the LMDC the majority has wanted back the Twins only better modified yet the LMDC has yet to acknowledge that. The panelists responded by saying they knew that it was true and they actually know that it's a major soundbyte. At least they didn't deny that the Twins weren't poorly engineered as the LMDC thought they were. I did meet Bob Armstrong who supports the Spire of Commerce.
