I have quit playing TFC for a few months. I started back about a month ago but some servers tell me my version is out of date and I should check for updates to my client. They say I'm using v46 and the server is using v47. Some servers let me play however and do not give me this message. Though 70% tell me my version is out of date. I reinstalled the 1.1.1.0 patch and that did nothing. I tried updating using Half Life's check for updates and got the screen below. Anyone know how I can update my client to v47? Thanks for any help recievied!

First off dont use sieera update, kinda screwy.

Second don't worry if you can connect to a server your good to go. Just might be a error.

It didn't work. I really do only have v46. Should I uninstall my copy of half life then reinstall HL1110 because nothing seems to update the my version from v46 to v47. I can play only about 25% of the servers out there bacause of this which is strange because I'd think I wouldn't be able to play any of them. I'm also using gamespy arcade to play TFC so does anyone think maybe that's the problem. I never really played TFC using the in-game server browser. Please help and thanx for the suggestions/comments recieved so far.

Actually... I thought WON went down now... wouldn't you have to be playing in steam? I heard that you can still connect with an outside source like hlsw, but I personally have never confirmed it.

What I suggest it just to download Steam and go for that. It's a new era now... -_-
