My apologies for responding late. I must have overlooked this thread. Crap.. anyhow if you still need help:

It's called tempdecal.wad

Just rename your pldecal.wad to tempdecal.wad

Make sure you have: hpk_maxsize "1" in your configs.

Hehe XD

To avoid having steam overwrite your spray. Make sure to right-click on the file and set it to "Read-only"

Whenever I use custom decals, whenever I go to the options screen in TFC it freezes my computer. Is this normal?

Ringleader - July 20, 2004 04:14 PM (GMT)
Actaully it did that to me too, but it goes back up after 10 or so seconds......maybe just first tiem using the menu?

i was never a fan of the custom sprays. Sometimes i make my own that yeh can choose in the menus. Thats always fun.

chikichicky - August 21, 2004 08:19 PM (GMT)
Well.. normal for me no... but then again it just might be lagging... so wait it out and perhaps it'll sort itself out? At least there's no run time errors, hehe.

Hey, i get those runtime error's sometimes  , what do they mean, im guessing its my ram but it might be all my custom models n stuff..?

I get an abrupt end to Steam as well, but after running my computer for invalid shortcuts and what not... they all went away... p00f!
