Title: Pokemon lives on!
OMFG_ILC - February 17, 2004 06:24 AM (GMT)
The neverending success of pokemon games never seems to die, and with two new titles our for the GBA the trend continues. Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green sold over 1 million copies combined in Japan in just four days after their initial release. Looking at their sales individually they still manage to sell 5x as many copies then the normal first place finisher in Japanese Sales Charts.
The GBA and GBA SP also saw increased sales thanks to the new pokemon titles. GBA SP's sales increased by 38% for a total of 64,800 units sold. GBA had a even rose by 61% for a total of 10,200 units sold by weeks end.
The Gamecube is awaiting its big hit soon in Pokemon Colliseum which should help give it a sizable sales boost as well.

Chinpokomon? What's that?
I thought Pokemon sort of died after the red/blue version. Although the GBA version are pretty sweet ^-^

the overall craze of Pokemon is nothing compared to what it once was but its games are always #1 sellers. They never seem to stop selling no matter how long they've been around @.@.
