Does anyone here know how to change class to an engineer in maps that don't give you that option in the class menu? I've been looking for the consol command for quite some time now, but haven't had any luck in finding it.

Are there any single (hand held) conc jumps on non-ctf maps that you would like to see done with an engineer? To give you an idea of what is possible, I landed concmap_icup's mushroom jump with an emp. I'm open to suggestions. I'm looking for advanced single conc jumps, not wussy crap. Oh... and before anyone says anything, I've already landed concmap_r's long distance jump, I can only get the height of a double conc, and jumps with strafing are acceptable.

poor poor Ch1cKeN, conc-jumping is using a concussion grenade to do either drop-and-jumps or hand helds.

Well, I think if you're good at making maps, maybe you can modify a map so that you CAN use the Engineer class. Other than that, I don't know any ways around it. Another possible way is to look for a cheat/exploit for that purpose, to go any class you want on a map. Although, I've never seen nor heard of one such as that before.

Congrats on the accomplished EMP jumping, not alot of people I know are able to do that. If you want to share any demos, that would be good too :D! I'm not too much of a concjumper, so I don't really know what to recommend @.@

but for the most part conc maps don't afford you the opportunity to try emp jumping since they have the class locked out, and there isn't any way to change that unless you change the parameters with HL's Worldcraft editor.

You're absolutely right. Most conc maps don't allow me the opportunity to try emp jumps. I'll have to try to modify the maps I want to use. I'm no map making guru though, so it may take a while.

I did watch boyakasha's emps one and two. Those are what turned me on to the idea of emp jumping. I even landed the infamous shutdown2 jump with 10-hp and 0-amour (eight more than puafia did himself). I consider that an intermediate jump even still though. I'm looking for some butt ugly hard strafing hand held jumps to do.

I'll post a link to a few demos as soon as I finish the advanced jumps. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I'm hungry for ideas.
