It's basically a comdy/sci-fi program, it has also books spun off from it.
Storyline.
You follow the story of a handfull of people, after a huge explosion on the spaceship that they were on.
Dave Lister, the last human alive, trapped in susspended animation for Three Thousand years, and a major slob.
Arold Rimmer, a hologram of one of the dead crew, complete loser.
Cat. Evolve from Listers pet cat, who was pregant at the time he got her, and has the best dress sense ever.
Kryten, a mechinal house robot, who has a very sentive guilt chip.
Holly, the ships computer, with an I.Q. of Six thousand, although three thousand years in deep space alone, it gone a bit strange, but still has some mables left.

Also later of in the series Rimmer is replaced with somebody else, but the first 5 series are the better ones.

I didn't expect it to come out that quickly. Normally they take severnish months to come out, this one was fourish.

I hope they bring it back to America. That Vampire is a riot. Oh, did you see that episode where JFK killed himself. I laugh so hard that I thought I was going to burst a lungs. That show is so kool. :lol:

There was no explosion. It was a radiation leak that killed the crew of Red Dwarf.

No he wasn't. Rimmer was even in the last episode.

Radiation Leak caused by an explosion. Also when you see Rimmer speaking to the Capt. there is a exploding noise. And Radiation leak wouldn't kill RD crew as quick as it did unless it explosed out.

Now onto Rimmer. Rimmer actually left the series to do a program called "The Brittas Empire". He had no intention of returning. Until TBE flopped, and he was written into the last series. Due to the fact the Nanos rebuild the ship and all the dead crew, they had too really.

Also I left out the fact that he returns to leave a little bit of a spoiler in it. For those that haven't seen it.

I mustn't have noticed the exploding noise, then...

Did he? I don't remember that. Not surprising, really, as I have a bad memory.
