Title: Christopher Reeve: 1952-2004
Description: Superman Rests Forever

It is my sad duty to inform you that Christopher Reeve has died. He fell into a coma and died of cardiac arrest on Sunday according to his publicist. He was best known as Superman in the movies that were popular in the 1980s.
Mr. Reeve was a personal hero of mine and I feel he deserves a lot of respect. He was even going to be on Smallville again this season and was working on an animated film at the time of his death.
Rest In Peace Christopher Reeve. You did a lot of good here on this Earth.

He was great portraying the Man Of Steel. He was born the same year as my dad.

It is my honor to announce that before AND after tonight's episode of Smallville, titled Devoted(ironic if you think about the news I'm gonna say), there will be tributes to Christopher Reeve, the fallen Superman. It was also announced that his character, Dr. Virgil Swann, will unfortunately die in a future episode this season and that Bridgette Crosby, played by the wonderful Margot Kidder, will continue on as Clark's liaison to his background.

Thanks for the info dude. I was glad to see that when I saw the eps as well.

Someone on some message board wanted them to recast Dr. Swann with another person. No offense but that's blasphemous and offensive to any fan of Chris.

Robin Williams has nothing but good memories of the fallen comic book icon.
