Got any Nascar updates???

As of right now only news that i have are the Crew member for the #47 team Jimmy watts (Tire changer) has been suspended for 4 races after running into the middle of the race track to get a tire that had wondered into the center of the track which forced nascar to throw the caution flag, the rule states that crew members must NOT go onto the racing surface for any reason while the cars are racing or under caution unless Directed to do so by a nascar official.

Reason why the rules for crew members on pit road are so strict is....

1. back in 1990 during a pit stop as one of Bill elliotts crew members was on the ground changing a tire ricky rudds car was coming in for service when he lost controll and ran over the guy changing the tire he died instantly that's why nascar now has a set speed limit on pit road,

2. back in the mid-late 90's a crew member for rudd's Team slippped while exiting the pit box and ran over the crew members head luckly he lived cause he had on a Helmet when it happened and they also mandated the use of full face helmets on pit road

any newbies to nascar on PUAO Feel free to ask me anything you'd like to know about nascar

Following the recent crash with Carl Edwards at 'DEGA nascar will now hand out penalties to any driver who is caught driving aggresively thats all the news i have for now except dover is 26 days away the penalties include like beeing held for x amount of laps and or suspensions

You told me about the Zero Tolerance rule. Please explain it for those here who don't know that.

SR_Lives_On_3 - May 15, 2009 06:35 AM (GMT)
Well recently Jeremy Mayfield was suspended by nascar after failing a mandatory drug test he was suspended indefinatly and is not allowed to participate in any nascar sanctioned event reason why this rule is so strict is cause a few years ago a driver named Aaron Fike admittted using heroin even on the days he raced so ever since then nascar has implemented the ZERO tolerance policy any one who violates it will be suspended on the spot and this is one offence nascar does not allow an appeal but if anybody has any questions feel free to let me know
good night,
Tim
