A few weeks ago, the first daytime female guest of Password died (Kitty Carlisle). Now the first daytime male guest of Password has passed away. Tom Poston died @ 85.

To sitcom fans, he was the eccentric neighbor on Mork & Mindy as well as the handyman on Newhart (he even guested on The Bob Newhart Show, how ironic the paths would later cross).

But game show fans have known Tom Poston since the Bud Collyer days of
To Tell The Truth (he also was on the Garry Moore & NBC versions). He also did Match Game, Password + (did the final episode with Tom Kennedy), Super Password, Body Language & many others. He even hosted a Goodson-Todman game on NBC called Split Personality (1959-60), but was clobbered opposite The Edge of Night.
