Episodes 1-8 are out of DVD now.
Vol. 1 Episodes 1-4
Vol. 2 Episodes 5-8

If you also read the manga volumes you will notice that episodes 1-63 follow the manga with the next 46 being original stories to keep the anime going. ...this info taken from Beckett's Anime & Manga magazine.
