Title: He-Man

SpiderX - January 4, 2007 01:54 PM (GMT)
There are several boxsets of the series and its sequels, which I am currently watching.

SpiderX - March 9, 2007 03:27 PM (GMT)
By the way, this is the hero's 25th anniversary of his debut. He-Man first appeared in DC Comics Presents #47, which came out in 1982. In that comic, he teamed up with Superman to defeat Skeletor. This comic is hard to find, but with some help, I was able to get a copy of it a while back. :ph43r:

SpiderX - March 26, 2007 02:02 PM (GMT)
Two boxsets are coming out in the coming weeks. New Adventures of He-Man Volume 2 hits the stores tomorrow, with Princess of Power Season One Volume 2 coming out the first week in April. :ph43r:

SpiderX - February 1, 2008 01:54 PM (GMT)
The 2002 series is currently being released on DVD, with Vol. 1 coming out February 19, 2008. (Just in case anyone's curious.) :ph43r:

SpiderX - May 26, 2008 02:05 PM (GMT)
Vol. 2 of the 2002-2004 series comes out tomorrow. :ph43r:

SpiderX - July 23, 2008 12:24 PM (GMT)
The final part of the 2002-2004 series comes out on August 5th. It includes a DVD-ROM comic of what would have been episode 40 as one of the extras. :ph43r:

SpiderX - December 1, 2008 02:37 PM (GMT)
If anyone is interested, a Christmas special from this series is out on DVD, and it is worth watching. :ph43r:

SpiderX - March 9, 2009 02:25 PM (GMT)
The movie Secret of the Sword is currently out on DVD. (The latest story I am writing has some elements of that movie in it.):ph43r:

SpiderX - September 18, 2010 07:38 PM (GMT)
RTV (Retro Television Network) will be airing both MOTU & POP starting in October. :ph43r:

SpiderX - December 17, 2010 05:38 PM (GMT)
Mill Creek will be releasing the original MOTU series next year. :ph43r:

SpiderX - September 24, 2011 08:45 PM (GMT)
The classic series (1983-85) as well as POP are now available on DVD. The POP 25th anniversary one was released by Classic Media, & MOTU was released by Mill Creek. :ph43r:

I have not only the original classic, but the second set as well on tape.

Purple Ranger 14 - October 4, 2011 12:42 AM (GMT)
So it started airing the year I was born?!?

trey98607 - October 4, 2011 12:51 AM (GMT)
Yes, that is what Wikapedia is saying.

I have not only the original classic, but the second set as well on tape.

You might have a rare find on those tapes. There was a scene in one episode (I think it was "Diamond Ray of Disappearance") where Orko hid behind a pot to avoid being hit by the Diamond Ray. It's not on the DVDs at all.

trey98607 - October 6, 2011 12:29 AM (GMT)
That episode was also on a tape that I bought some years ago. It was on that.

SpiderX - October 27, 2011 05:36 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that is a rare find like I said.

I just discovered a couple of weeks back that the show is airing on Qubo--and with closed-captioning! In fact, I'm transferring some that Scoob taped for me as I am writing this post. (It's on around midnight, & only one TV in the house gets the channel.) :ph43r:

trey98607 - October 29, 2011 11:45 AM (GMT)
Would you like to see a complete list of all the episodes I have of He-Man?

SpiderX - November 18, 2011 02:09 PM (GMT)
I'm curious about that list. I would like to see it.

BTW, everyone, 2012 marks the 30th anniversary of MOTU. :ph43r:

I did ask. You probably have the entire '83-'85 series, from the look of that list. :ph43r:

That is correct.
