Description: Recipe for Short Bread

I can finally add making short bread onto the thing I can cook. Here's the recipe if anyone here wishes to make some. BTW I short hand it. ;)
SHORT BREAD
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of Self-Rising Flour
1/4 teaspoon of Soft Butter
1/3 cup of Sugar
1 large Egg
Canola Oil (brush onto Cooking Sheet) or Pan For Baking Cooking Spray (if you use the cooking spray ignore using the Canola Oil & the Cooking Brush)
Tools needed:
1 Cooking Sheet
1 Large Bowl (if using whisk you'll need 2 Large Bowls)
1 Measuring Cup
1 Cooking Brush
1 Fork
1 Knife (to cut the Butter with)
1 Food Processor (You can use a Whisk, a Hand Held Mixer or a Blender; which ever you prefer. I personally find a Food Processor to work the best for me.)
1. Preheat the oven for 350° degree. Then spray the cooking sheet with Pan For Baking or brush the Canola Oil onto the cooking sheet. For the Canola oil please try not to use too much or too little. Just enough to cover the cooking sheet.
2. Take the butter & sugar and mix it until it's light & fluffy. Then add the egg to the sugar & butter mixture. Blend well until it's lighter & fluffier. (It will look like a light yellow color, if it is done right.)
3. Add a little bit of the wet ingredients (meaning the sugar/butter/egg mixture) to the large bowl & a little bit of the dry ingredient (meaning flour). Then mix it together with your hands. Repeat this process until dough hold tightly together.
4. Next take a piece of dough & make 6 balls.
5. With the palm of your hand flatten the one of the balls. Then take a dry fork & press the ends of the dough until it looks like a flower (more or less like a Daisy). Repeat the process & make sure to you keep them at least 2 inches apart.
Cook for at least 18 - 20 minutes or until gold brown. ^_^
(Optional: adding strawberry or raspberry jam will help enhance the flavor. :P )

Sounds delicious. I'll have to substitute certain ingredients so it doesn't hurt my cholesterol levels.

Guess what, I finally am able to use our BBQer, my brothe told how to start it. I did, but it took me awhile to get used to it. If you want me to tell you how I do it, let me know.

Lady Hawk, you're not the only one learning how to cook, ever since my Dad made a mistake of putting a plastic microwavable dish in the oven, I had to take over. Now that he's gone I have no choice.
