Don’t Grow Up In Mama’s Shoes
Written / © 2005 by: Rua
Don’t,
Grow up in Mama’s shoes,
They’re far too big for you to fill.
Don’t,
Adapt to Mama’s old habits,
Slitting yourself isn’t worth it in the end it‘ll only cause you pain.
You’re too young to handle a life like mine.
Just take every day one day at a time.
You will be fine.
Don’t,
Try to mature too fast,
Take it slows just be a kid.
Don’t,
Let people put or push you down,
They’re really sad inside & wear a hidden frown.
You’re too young to handle a life like mine.
Take day by day & be yourself,
And watch the sunshine.
No...No...Don’t grow up in Mama’s shoes.
No...No...Don’t grow up in Mama’s shoes.
Please don’t adapt to Mama’s old ways.
I do not know if I should read this as a poem or as a song, but I simply like it as I like all your other poetry/poem's Angel...
I really mean that, :Ghostbusters as a grade
