Yoko’s Dance

Her spirit dances under the moon lit night.
Taking note of the sirens singing, calling to her in the wind.
As they tell the story of the legendary Yoko.
Cunning & swift forever and a day he fought fierce with a brave heart.
There was no battle that he could not manage to claim victory over his enemies.

Yoko would trade it all for one moment to observe the girl in the white gown dancing under the moon once more.
Immortality has its advantages & disadvantages.
Loneliness is being one of them.
The shadowy outlines of her body capers her movements to the music of an enchanted fiddle.

Her feet stir the dirt on the ground.
The grass shines silver & stars gaze at the show being performed for them with tremendous ballet.
The scent of roses, lilies, & wild flowers over whelm Yoko.
He falls deep into her trance.
No longer containing himself he joins her spirit in purgatory.

Her arms leisurely swing over him, hugging him as they twist, turns, & twirls.
Like a silent movie the tendency of the dance emerges something hidden inside of him that he never knew existed.
Is it love or just a hypnotic spell that she cast upon him to trap him inside her own personal hell?
He gazes into her eyes & knows the truth.
It’s love! True love!

This courageous warrior decided then to give up his quest of fame, fortune, & glory to spend the rest of days in heaven with her.

And you always manages to make me smile a smile I never smile anymore until the last few weeks
