Rose Petal Dreams

Green stems.
Jagged leaves.
A pink rose petal for a distant memory.
That perhaps you will stay.
But you always go away.
You never hang about in one single place.
Nothing is ever unchangeable in this case.
I miss my rose petal mister deer.
Will you come back to me next year?
Winter has come at last.
Dreary icy tears falling down my face,
As I remember the past.
I rarely laugh anymore.
The jewel hardly ever shines in the sun by the seashore.
You barely linger on this earth.
Mister deer may I ask, “did you foolishly kill my rose?”
He says ”yes, but you already known.
So why pose such a question if hold the answer.”
Snow sleeping on my grave.
My rose petals faded to grey.
