No words to be said.

You seized my love today.
No tears to be had.

No voice to cry out in pain.
Just wishful thinking,

No storm to make it rain.
To keep me from sinking,

You take my life away.
No sounds to be heard.

You seized my heart today.
Allowing my love to be burned.

Watchful eyes captivating,
My every solemn move,

If only you saw my heart breaking.
If only you knew.

A dead man’s song,
Lingering in the distance.

I question motives and presume you’re wrong.
Without even judgment or consequence,

You take my breath away.
Over and over again,

You seized my love today.
Why not grasp a razorblade and bring about the end.

Please stop me from crying.
Please stop me from breathing.

Please stop my heart from breaking.
I refuse to lose you again.

You take my breath away.
You take my voice, and my song.

You take my light, my life, and my love.
Please let the sun rise and renew the birth of day.
