Transformers: Cybertron - A new adventure for Prime and the Autobots
hits DVD later this year

When it comes to the voice of Optimus Prime, there's no doubt that Peter Cullen of the orginal Generation 1 and The Transformers - The Movie is the one "prime" voice that everyone remembers. But Gary Chalk took up his place afterward as Optimus Primal in Beast Wars and Beast Machines, and then came back later as Prime in the newer shows Transformers: Armada and Transformers: Energon. Now Chalk has returned to lead the Autobots once more in the latest animated series about robots in disguise: Transformers: Cybertron!
The new show comes to DVD later this year thanks to Hasbro's distribution deal with Paramount Home Entertainment. Prime leads his Autobot forces around the galaxy, hunting down the ancient Cyber-Planet Keys that are needed to unlock Cybertron from its long-held planet mode, transforming it into the one robot large enough to save the galaxy from an encroaching black hole that threatens to destroy all! But Megatron and the Decepticons are also trying to get the keys, and their reasons aren't the same as Prime's. So the race - and fight - is on!
Originally planned to reach DVD in August, Paramount has pushed the schedule back a bit, and it looks like we'll see the first release hit sometime in the Fall. The title is Transformers: Cybertron - Vol. 1: A New Beginning. Details haven't been announced yet, but we expect the DVD to contain a total of 4 episodes from among the early stories in the series. Here's a look at the cover art for this; stay tuned for more information just as soon as it's available.

Purple Ranger 14 - June 27, 2005 03:57 PM (GMT)
The commercial mentioned the Destruction of Unicron. Plus, They showed Energon's Ironhide.
Rainbow3x_KingKnight - June 28, 2005 01:30 AM (GMT)
maybe it is mixed with Energon ?
Purple Ranger 14 - June 28, 2005 04:21 PM (GMT)
I think it's a continuation of it like Energon was of Armada.
Rainbow3x_KingKnight - June 29, 2005 01:17 PM (GMT)
actually b if you look at transformers more you will know that the transformers will always have different futures even thought they use some or all of the same characters for each series!
whelp the dragon - July 30, 2005 09:18 AM (GMT)
this is about pimus's transformation I have found some design for the toy what do you think of them.
Pics of primus transformed
Purple Ranger 14 - July 30, 2005 05:58 PM (GMT)
Told ya Cybertron was a transformer and the biggest Autobot.
Forte.exe - August 3, 2005 12:02 AM (GMT)
never doubt bobby especially with transformers. he is a bigger fan than me
Super Starscreamgot this in the current epsiode 30 of transformers galaxy force(cybertron) starscream absorb primus' spark. and the size difference between him and master megatron
and everyone in cybertron use force chips a lot(they function as minicons do)
Liger Convoythis is a link up of convoy and liger jack. that means optimus prime and this tiger guy.
next episode
Optimus prime links up with jet fire in cybertron to form
(sonic convoy) in japanese.
Purple Ranger 14 - August 3, 2005 02:36 PM (GMT)

i didn't believe it the first time ;)
many believe that earth itself is a living being too
Purple Ranger 14 - August 4, 2005 04:01 PM (GMT)
True. But Earth doesn't change into an enormous being.
Forte.exe - August 4, 2005 10:03 PM (GMT)
i know. then i realized that just because it does not transform does not mean it is not alive
anyways back to topic.
as you see from superstarscream's pic.
this is the second time he wears a crown.
The_Crow - August 4, 2005 10:11 PM (GMT)
Yep
the first time being with the Transformers The Movie from the 80's before getting redushed to ashes by Galvatron (GOD I miss that guy, he truly was and is BADASS - with BADASS I mean Galvatron, not Starscream)
Forte.exe - August 5, 2005 12:47 AM (GMT)
heh perhaps megatron will get a second change to kicking starscreams but again :D
The_Crow - August 5, 2005 01:24 AM (GMT)
Forte.exe - August 5, 2005 08:54 AM (GMT)
and speaking of crowns. i do believe that it is the same crown design star scream wore in the movie.
and i like starscream in the energon...or was it rid. the one where he dies as a hero and with alexis crying. awwww...that was cute.
Purple Ranger 14 - August 5, 2005 03:12 PM (GMT)
It was Armada. Alexis kind of bonded with Starscream and he did bring back a rock from Mars for her & the kids like he promised he would. That showed even ego driven bots like Starscream had a heart.
Forte.exe - August 6, 2005 09:58 AM (GMT)
i almost cried in the episode. i just can't stand it when girls cry. now i must find that episode ...i know it recorded it
Purple Ranger 14 - August 8, 2005 03:00 PM (GMT)
Rainbow3x_KingKnight - October 20, 2005 04:04 PM (GMT)
i wonder if the Energon Transformers will be in Transformers Cybertron ?
