Title: Charmed

Purple Ranger 14 - April 27, 2005 04:09 PM (GMT)
Discuss the show about a trio of sexy sister witches.

Is Charmed Near The End?

Brad Kern, longtime executive producer of The WB's Charmed, told SCI FI Wire that the upcoming season finale, "Something Wicca This Way Goes?" could also serve as the series finale-with a big surprise-should the show not get picked up for an eighth season. The finale builds on the events of "Death Becomes Them," the penultimate seventh-season episode, Kern said in an interview.
"The girls [Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan] have to figure out how to get the book back before Zankou [Oded Fehr] can use it to be able to tap into the power of the spiritual nexus and then become unstoppable," Kern said. "Over the course of the episode the girls have to wrestle with whether the fight [to protect innocents] has been worth it, whether they want to carry on or not, what they're willing to give up."
Kern added: "But they also realize that if they don't stop Zankou then all of the good they've done over the past seven years will have been for naught. That's just not acceptable, but the more they try to stop him, one by one he takes their powers. Halfway through the show they end the act by saying, 'I don't think we're going to get out of this one alive.' And that sets up a surprising ending that is so surprising and so top-secret that even in the episode outline that I've sent to the studio and the network, I've not included that scene. It will only be distributed on the day we shoot it. The idea is to not let spoilers spoil things for the loyal fans."
Still, Kern isn't giving up hope for another year of the show about the Halliwell sisters. "The network loves Charmed creatively and have been especially happy with it this season," he said. "But whether we come back or not still all boils down to ratings-which means it's up to the fans. If they all tune in and watch the last couple of episodes, I believe that'll raise our numbers enough to push us over the edge and force The WB to pick us up for an eighth season."
The WB will announce in May whether or not they'll pick up Charmed for another, presumably final, season. The season finale will probably air on May 22.

I like this show too.

I hope it gets picked up for one more season at least.

Did you see the episode that starred Nick Lachey?

"Death Becomes Them"

LOSING FAITH - Zankou's (guest star Oded Feher) plan to make the sisters vulnerable so that he can take control of the Book of Shadows starts to work when Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) is left guilt-ridden after a classmate is brutally killed in front of her and comes back from the dead to blame her. Also part of Zankou's plan, Paige (Rose McGowan) is devastated when she finds her new charge dead and realizes she was powerless to save her.

Realizing that Zankou was behind the deaths, Piper (Holly Marie Combs), Phoebe and Paige go after the Alchemist (guest star John Kassir), who is helping Zankou, and are confronted by all the undead innocents they were unable to save over the last seven years, allowing Zankou to take the Book of Shadows without the sisters knowing.

Charmed Trio Avoids Fan "Outrage"
by Daniel R. Coleridge

Charmed
When WB unveiled its fall sked on Tuesday, the Frog net confirmed it had renewed Charmed for an eighth season. What's more, former rock star and Extra talking head Mark McGrath will come aboard as a series regular. No word yet whether he'll play naughty or nice (or if he can act), so we won't wrap our heads around that one right now. Before the conclusion of the two-part season finale, "Something Wicca This Way Goes" (the conclusion airs Sunday at 8 pm/ET), TVGuide.com touched base with each of the three Charmed sisters in separate interviews for a glimpse into their past, present and future.

TVGuide.com: Would you have been happy if the two-part season finale were also the series finale?
Holly Marie Combs: I think there's more things for the characters to do. There's so much we haven't done yet! I could be dead wrong and I have been before. But personally, I'm not done yet! [Laughs] I'm pretty sure that this ending [wouldn't] satisfy our hardcore fans.
Alyssa Milano: None of it's wrapped up! I think at the end of a series, the most important thing is to take care of what the fans want to see. They've dedicated so much time and energy to find us, no matter what night we are on and have followed us for seven years. I think the fans would like Phoebe to settle down and find a love like she experienced with Cole, but obviously not with a demon.

TVG: What would the fan reaction have been to cancelation?
Combs: [Smiles] Outrage!

TVG: It's crazy how Charmed was kept on the bubble. You might have gotten a quicker renewal if the show were retitled Desperate Housewitches.
Rose McGowan: That seems to be the craze right now, but there's only one sister married [on the show], so I don't know how that would work. We'd all have to get married!

TVG: Alyssa, you'd be Wysterical on Wisteria Lane! You'd fit in.
Milano: Everyone thinks I should play Teri Hatcher's little sister. I get that a lot. I don't think I'd commit to it for a long engagement, but I'd definitely do a story arc on that show. If Charmed were to wrap, I [would] not make any set plans. I'm just going to spend a year traveling and doing other things. We work sometimes 85 hours a week, so it doesn't leave a lot of room for self-exploration.

TVG: Rose, you could give Nicollette Sheridan a run for her money as the neighborhood tramp.
McGowan: [Smirks] Thank you for calling me a tramp. I appreciate that. Why would I play a tramp exactly? What if I play a lady in a burlap sack? I'm not typecast. [Chuckles] Listen, you whore, look up tramp in the dictionary. That is not a flattering term. I could play the saucy bitch. How's that?

TVG: Speaking of... er, divas, let's put the perennial fan question to rest. Is Shannen Doherty ever coming back?
Milano: I don't think so. I think when she left the show, she alienated everybody. I don't think they would bring her back.
McGowan: I've actually met Shannen a couple of times and I liked her very much. She was extremely nice. Again, I wasn't here [when she left]. I don't know what the hell happened.

TVG: How hard was it for you to fit in, Rose? Does everyone really get along?
McGowan: It was a bit of an adjustment at first, but it's fine. This is a dysfunctional family. I've come to love these people, and it [has been] kind of messing with me that I might not see them anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'd be over it in two days! Just kidding.

Charmed: More Story To Tell

The cast members of The WB's Charmed, which was just renewed for an eighth season, told TV Guide Online that they feel there's more story to tell. "I think there's more things for the characters to do," Holly Marie Combs (Piper Halliwell) told the site. "There's so much we haven't done yet! I could be dead wrong, and I have been before. But personally, I'm not done yet! [Laughs]. I'm pretty sure that this ending [wouldn't] satisfy our hard-core fans."
Alyssa Milano (Phoebe Halliwell) added about the upcoming season finale, which airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT on May 22: "None of it's wrapped up. I think at the end of a series, the most important thing is to take care of what the fans want to see. They've dedicated so much time and energy to find us, no matter what night we are on, and have followed us for seven years. I think the fans would like Phoebe to settle down and find a love like she experienced with Cole, but obviously not with a demon."
The WB announced that it renewed Charmed in its current Sunday night timeslot and will add former rock star Mark McGrath to the cast for a large part of the season. The WB made the announcement as part of its upfront presentation to advertisers in New York City on May 17.

Charmed Will Charm Again

The WB announced that it has renewed its witch series Charmed for an eighth season, with Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan returning as the bewitching Halliwell sisters and Mark McGrath joining the cast for a large part of the season. The WB made the announcement as part of its upfront presentation to advertisers in New York City on May 17. The announcement caps weeks of uncertainty about whether the long-running series would come back.
"The decision to renew Charmed in many ways was a no-brainer, because we looked at its performance this season, and it has held its own incredibly against strict competition, especially with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," WB Entertainment president David Janollari told SCI FI Wire during a press conference following the announcement. "The performance is terrific, and we said, 'Why try to launch something new there when we know we're getting the numbers and our core audience in that time period?'"
McGrath, Janollari added, will be "a regular for at least most of the season, and we'll see how that goes." It's unclear what role will be played by McGrath, lead singer for the rock group Sugar Ray and current co-host of the entertainment news program Extra. "That [role] is being created right now," Janollari said. "But I am guessing it will be a romantic interest." The WB added that Charmed will retain its current timeslot, Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Did anyone see the last episode of Charmed. I saw it & thought that it was okay, but what has got me wondering is...Are they ending the show for good?

Purple Ranger 14 - May 28, 2005 08:38 PM (GMT)
Yet another season it will have.

Here is the latest news update on the show plus a snagged stat.
05/27 - At season's end, the Charmed Ones -- Piper (Combs), Phoebe (Milano) and Paige (McGowan) -- had their slates wiped clean and were transformed into new versions of themselves (with different actresses), able to now live in anonymity without fear of their magical powers being discovered. Since all three original stars are contracted for one more year, Kern faces the challenge of restoring the sisters. Also, because of the budget, they must stay in the now-deserted Halliwell mansion. "Can't afford to rebuild," Kern says. "They will stay in the house, one way or another. I don't want to get out of this cheaply. I think the audience would be upset, and I don't blame them. I don't want to use memory dust; I don't want to use the cleaners; I don't want to cast spells. They're going to have to get out of this one authentically, and I think that'll be more rewarding for the audience." New additions this year include Sugar Ray frontman and "Extra" host Mark McGrath. Kern isn't quite sure what to do with him yet, but he hopes to make him a new love interest for Phoebe. "The challenge," Kern says, "is to make him different from any other love interest we've had for her before." Although adding McGrath was not Kern's idea, he says, "Obviously, with single women, you need single men. So when they say 'Mark McGrath,' I say 'No problem.' I'll find a way." There'll also be a new girl in town. "We're going to be meeting a new witch in the season as well," Kern says. "She will be driving the girls crazy. Who knows, maybe she'll take off, and there'll be a ninth season."

'Charmed' Catches a Little Luck
(Friday, May 27 10:12 AM)
By Kate O'Hare
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) After having to wait for renewal until The WB announced its new fall schedule to advertisers in New York City on May 17, "Charmed" executive producer Brad Kern is just catching his breath and thinking about the prospect of an eighth season, back on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.

"They sure did make us wait," he says. "I wish they hadn't. I understand why they did. I even went in a week before everybody in the network went to New York and did a little dog-and-pony show. I went to [WB entertainment chief] David Janollari to pitch him on why he should pick up 'Charmed' for one more year, all the different things I could still do for the show.

"When you're a bubble show, the network has every right to look at their next year's schedule with all their new shows. You have to re-pitch your series. They have every right to be concerned that the legs are getting fatigued, and the last thing you want to do is pick up a show one year late.

"Not all of us have the luxury of being multimillionaires and being able to, quote, unquote, leave while we're on top."

After all, Kern isn't just worrying about himself and stars Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan, who play the good-witch Halliwell siblings in San Francisco.

"You're responsible for 250 people who work on the show," Kern says, "and all the people who service those people. My job is always to see what I can do to get the show picked up for one more year, by hook or by crook."

He credits fan efforts for contributing to the show's return. "I think every little thing that everybody did helped, fans sending in e-mails, letters and candles, my dog-and-pony show, and the fans tuning in to watch the last several episodes and not letting the ratings drop lower."

Kern says "Charmed" returns for the same budget as last year, which will require some creative economizing. Also complicating the issue is that "Charmed" finds itself sandwiched between half-hour comedies, with a "Reba" repeat on one side, and "Blue Collar TV" on the other -- along with facing direct competition again this year from ABC's formidable "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

"I think they recognize that we lost some viewers by being up against the juggernaut that was ABC," Kern says, "and being marooned. But we still pulled in our 3.5 to 4 million viewers no matter what, and that's a lot on The WB.

"It's a tough slot. David said we're an anchor show, and we still have a loyal following, and that's meaningful to him and the network as we enter into our eighth year, and they try to launch their next generation of shows."

The uncertainty at the end of season seven left Kern unable to pen a definitive closer.

"I did admittedly write an episode that erred more on the side of a series finale than a season finale, because I didn't want to leave the fans with nothing to hold onto for eternity, if that was to be the end.

Purple Ranger 14 - May 28, 2005 08:39 PM (GMT)
"But I did leave myself enough outs, and I have thought through things that I could do to spin the show off in a fresh direction if we did get picked up. Because if you're going to do an eighth season, you're going to need to till new ground."

At season's end, the Charmed Ones -- Piper (Combs), Phoebe (Milano) and Paige (McGowan) -- had their slates wiped clean and were transformed into new versions of themselves (with different actresses), able to now live in anonymity without fear of their magical powers being discovered.

They're going to have to get out of this one authentically, and I think that'll be more rewarding for the audience."

New additions this year include Sugar Ray frontman and "Extra" host Mark McGrath. Kern isn't quite sure what to do with him yet, but he hopes to make him a new love interest for Phoebe.

"The challenge," Kern says, "is to make him different from any other love interest we've had for her before."

Although adding McGrath was not Kern's idea, he says, "Obviously, with single women, you need single men. So when they say 'Mark McGrath,' I say 'No problem.' I'll find a way."

There'll also be a new girl in town. "We're going to be meeting a new witch in the season as well," Kern says. "She will be driving the girls crazy. Who knows, maybe she'll take off, and there'll be a ninth season.

"It'll say 'Charmed' on my tombstone. That's the only thing I'll ever be known for, I'm sure, but if that's it, I'm blessed and grateful. It's been, and continues to be, a great run."

McGOWAN SMITTEN WITH BUTTON

Actress ROSE McGOWAN is enjoying a whirlwind romance with Formula One racing star JENSEN BUTTON.

The CHARMED beauty met Button in Monaco last month (MAY05), just weeks after her split from journalist DAVE ZINCZENKO.

The pair immediately started dating, even spending a romantic three nights in the glitzy COLUMBUS HOTEL, owned by the racing ace's friend DAVID COULTHARD within hours of meeting, reports Britain's NEWS OF THE WORLD newspaper.

A friend of Button says, "Jenson and Rose were chatting for a bit before the race and got on really well.

"They arranged to meet up afterwards and went for dinner and a few drinks.

"It's fair to say they fancy the pants off each other."

Alyssa Milano admires the human spirit

New Delhi, June. 27 (PTI): UNICEF Ambassador and popular US television actress Alyssa Milano, today concluded her four-day India visit after reviewing the activities undertaken by the UN body in the country after tsunami tragedy.

"I am happy to see the kids healthy, singing and dancing. I thought the scene (after six months of tsunami) will bring more heartache. Human spirit is so amazing, especially the children's spirit," Milano was quoted as saying in a release.

The actress, who was appointed as UNICEF Ambassador in 2003, visited Cuddalore and other affected areas and undertook a journey through Maharashtra to meet HIV/AIDS affected people.

"It has always been a dream of mine to come to India and see UNICEF's work in the area of education, healthcare and HIV. These programmes which touch the lives of so many children are a hope for a bright future," she added.

This was Milano's first visit to India to witness UNICEF's work on the protection of orphans and on the work done to rehabilitate victims of the tsunami tragedy which occurred six months ago.

Episode 8.01: Still Charmed & Kicking Airdate: Fall 2005
07/09 - The episode opens with a wake at the manor. Victor greets the mourners. The sisters are still morphing in order not to be uncovered. Victor is overwhelmed by all of this but the sisters remind him they are alive and free. Paul Haas, a darkly handsome man in his late 20's, is at the manor and starts chatting with Victor asking if there was ever an official cause of death, if the police found Leo, etc. He seems to be interested in the manor as well… In the Underworld, a new generation of demons (in their 20s with rock star looks), rejoices when they learn the sisters are dead as no one, except other demons, will be able to stop them now. They want to establish a foothold in the mortal world and what better foothold then the manor? Agent Keyes is ready to go back to D.C. even though he admits the case isn't really closed. He has Agent Murphy stay behind to keep an eye on things. An Elder visits Victor to talk about Wyatt and Chris. Victor is in charge of P3 but it seems Piper is somehow working there too. Elise, leprechauns, Little Wyatt, and Leo appear in the episode. It seems Mark McGrath's character will be named Dex and will be in this episode. Kaley Cuoco's character seems to be named Billie, and if we are not mistaken about her character, she will be in this episode. Source: SpoilerFix.com

Al Pacino and Rose McGowan?
Jul 20, 2005, 17:49 GMT
Al Pacino is rumoured to be romancing 'Charmed' actress Rose McGowan - who 34 years his junior.
The 65-year-old Hollywood legend has reportedly wooed the 31-year-old beauty, who plays sexy witch Paige Halliwell in the hit TV series, after a date at Los Angeles restaurant Mortons.
A source revealed to America's Us Weekly magazine: "She thought he was too old for her at first, but Al won her over."
Rose - who was once engaged to shock rocker Marilyn Manson - is not the first much younger woman that Pacino has dated.
He was once linked to his 'Simone' co-star Winona Ryder, 33, and recently took newly-single supermodel Elle Macpherson, 42, to dinner. The actor recently confessed he was baffled as to why he was called 'Hollywood's longest serving bachelor' because he feels like he has been married several times.
Pacino, who has twins with actress Beverly D'Angelo and a teenage daughter with acting teacher Jan Tarrant, explained: "I guess I feel as though I've been married many times. I have children and I have relationships with the women that I've had children with and other women I've been with for a long time. I don't know. Maybe it's the kind of women I've been with who weren't forcing the issue.
"When I talk to my married friends, we understand each other, so I must be doing something right."

Charmed Begins Anew
Brad Kern, executive producer of The WB's Charmed, told SCI FI Wire that he believes they've created a series with "a canvas that seems to be infinite."
"We can paint whatever picture we want to paint," Kern said in an interview. "We can go anywhere we want to go. But it really does start with the characters and the stars, because they are real women, and they are real sisters. At least that's the way we portray them. And they grow up, and as they grow up they experience different things in their lives. Certainly different, 23 versus 30. And that opens up the door for new metaphors and new demons to resonate and challenge them in their next stages of life."
Charmed-starring Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan as the witchy Halliwell sisters-is set to begin its eighth season this weekend after a last-minute renewal last season. "We'll have done 178 episodes [by the end of the season]," Kern said. "It's such lofty territory, [especially for] genre shows in prime time. I feel like I've got a nosebleed [laughs]. I think that obviously it's a challenge coming out of the season finale, which was designed in part to be a series finale, in case we weren't going to come back. Because we have come back, it has created some challenges for us. The one thing I know we don't want to do, and we're not going to do, is get out that cheaply or easily."

Purple Ranger 14 - October 1, 2005 10:02 PM (GMT)
Last season the Charmed Ones took on Zankou (Oded Fehr), a demon who stole their powers in an attempt to take in the power of the Shadow. In the seventh-season finale, the sisters were able to defeat him, but ended up having to fake their deaths to the demon and the mortal world. As season eight begins, Paige, Piper and Phoebe will continue to let the world believe that they are dead, Kern said.
In some ways the sisters will like their new lives better, Kern added. "And they should like it a lot better," he said. "I think that's going to open up more stories for us, because we're able to send the women out into the real world, for really the first time, full-time, in seven years. But at the same time they're going to be challenged by what they see around them, which is bad things happening. Demons taking advantage of the Charmed Ones supposedly being gone. And how are they going to reconcile that while they live their own individual lives? How can they pretend like it doesn't matter? How can they watch bad things happen and do nothing about it? Yet if they decide to do something about it, then they risk losing the very thing that they've wanted, which is normal lives."
This season a new character named Billie (Kaley Cuoco) has been added to the cast. Billie is "kind of a brash thrill-seeker, a 19-year-old kick-ass witch, who they're going to end up reluctantly recruiting," Kern said. He added that he believes it's time for the girls to "pass the baton off, or at least attempt to pass the baton off. It's not going to be an easy baton pass to this new character." Charmed's eighth season premieres on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Charmed's Leo Safe from Demons
by Matt Webb MitovichBrian Krause
Sure, Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs have been around since Day 1, but it says a whole lot more that Brian Krause has lasted a full seven years on WB's†Charmed†(Sundays at 8 pm/ET), which frankly isn't known for providing job security for male actors. Indeed, Krause knows that his is a charmed existence, in more ways than one.
TVGuide.com: Dude, you work with Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Rose McGowan and now Kaley Cuoco. Not exactly the hardest job in Hollywood, is it?
Brian Krause: Yeah, I think there have been more difficult jobs, that's for sure.
TVGuide.com: What's ahead this season? Could newbie witch Billie, whom Leo is spending a lot of time tutoring, cause problems for him and Piper?
Krause: I don't think she'll cause problems for us specifically, but — it's funny to say it like this†— any time you get a new witch with new powers, there will be repercussions in her just learning the craft while we try to teach her the way. She definitely has some pitfalls, but obviously she'll come through with success and flying colors — and have demons in her future. [Laughs]
TVGuide.com: So there's no threat of sparks between Billie and her teach?
Krause: Piper and I run into the typical marriage issues. Now that I'm mortal, I'm trying to get her to spend more time with me. That's the big issue between them — separating the sisters from the magic, weaning them off so that they can lead normal lives.
TVGuide.com:†I suppose if Leo were to stray, who knows what kind of hell Piper could unleash on him?
Krause: Yeah, exactly! [Laughs]
TVGuide.com: Ever since last season's finale, Leo and the girls have been living with "new faces," although viewers still see the same actors. Are you happy with your "alias" face?
Krause: Uh, yeah, I have no problems with it. It's not the same guy [as in finale]. I think the girls changed and the guy changed.
TVGuide.com: How much are the "alias" actors getting paid to spend eight seconds a week looking into a mirror?
Krause: I have no idea. I have no idea. [Laughs]
TVGuide.com:†Has this gig proven better than you ever imagined back in 1998?
Krause: Absolutely. I started as a three-episode, possibly recurring character, and in that first season I wound up doing seven [episodes], and in the next [season] did 15 and they made me a regular. It's beyond what I thought it was going to be, and has grown and grown into me being an integral part of the show. It's a bit of a dream come true as far as a job goes.
TVGuide.com: Let's talk about two of your past projects. Which was a better trip: the Return to the Blue Lagoon or the Return to†Cabin by the Lake?
Krause: Well, I'll tell you, you can't beat [Blue Lagoon's] Fiji†— it was unbelievable down there. I spent three months learning how to live on an island and fish and climb coconut trees....
TVGuide.com: With Milla Jovovich, no less...
Krause: With Milla and a wonderful cast and crew. [Cabin's] Vancouver [shoot] wasn't too shabby, either. I made a lot of friends up there. Judd Nelson is a veteran and a class character, a great guy to work with.
TVGuide.com: He seems due for one of those "retro" comebacks.
Krause: He's a great guy and a good actor. I think we'll be seeing him forever.
TVGuide.com: Your bio says you enjoy "jam sessions on your harmonica." Quick, make that sound sexy for the ladies out there.
Krause: Uh, well, basically we play evil and sexy music late Friday nights in some dark dingy rehearsal studio on the West Side. Our mantra is "dark, evil and sexy." [Laughs]
TVGuide.com: Just be careful not to smash your hand while renovating your house. How is that going, anyway?
Krause: Doing it with my friends and basically contracting it myself, I've been working on it for†two-and-a-half years. It takes as long as it takes; I do it on my days off. I've been building a walk-in closet for six months now. I'm over it!
TVGuide.com: Too bad there are no witches to snap their fingers and finish it up for you.
Krause: You know? I think it'd be "personal gain," though. It'd be a problem. [Laughs]
TVGuide.com: What else do you have filling your time?
Krause: I wrote, produced and directed my first short film, The Mission, and we're getting that out to all the circuits.
TVGuide.com: You play [reading press release] an "alcohol-drinking, cigarette-smoking, gun-carrying man in search of missing links to his past"?
Krause: Yeah, that's a classic little line there, huh?
TVGuide.com: All that's missing is "bimbo-bedding."
Krause: Yeah. No s---! He's basically a private investigator/bounty hunter who winds up on a personal bounty of his own, in which he trails this person who has a connection that will change his life.
TVGuide.com: How does General Hospital vet Jacklyn Zeman figure into it?
Krause: She plays my mark, the one that I'm after, and the reveal at the end is something very personal to [my character]. He had to overcome his demons to follow her and actually make his approach to her.
TVGuide.com: Hey, you said "demons." We don't like that word!
Krause: Yeah, but these are inner demons. [Laughs]

"Charmed" Ep. 10/23/05 – Rewitched
"Rewitched"
BACK TO NORMAL
Unaware that she is being watched, Billie (Kaley Cuoco) jeopardizes the Charmed Ones' new lives when she uses her powers to save an innocent and is caught by Agent Murphy (guest star Brandon Quinn) of Homeland Security, who has suspected all along that she and the "cousins" are involved in supernatural activities and that the Halliwell sisters are not dead.
Meanwhile, Phoebe's (Alyssa Milano) overnight trip with Dex (guest star Jason Lewis) ends in marriage when she and Dex are put under a spell by Billie; and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Paige (Rose McGowan) organize a speed dating night at P3 to get the club back on its financial feet.
Finally, the Charmed Ones and Leo (Brian Krause) permanently morph into their old identities and join forces with Agent Murphy.

Charmed's McGowan Handcuffed
Charmed star Rose McGowan was handcuffed and booted from a party for the T-Mobile cellular service on Oct. 18 in Hollywood, Calif., after getting into a scuffle with a security guard, the New York Daily News reported.
McGowan was dancing at the Vanguard club when something she was doing with her keys caused security guards to surround her, one witness told the newspaper. They grabbed McGowan, searched her purse and showed her out the door.
Dominique Appel, a representative for the actress, had a different take on events. "There was a man standing uncomfortably close to her," Appel told the paper. "When she asked him to move away, words were exchanged. It happened he was a security guard. She was handcuffed and taken outside." Appel says McGowan "was detained," but police were not called.

Rose McGowan appeared twice in last week's Life & Style and OK! Magazine.

Alyssa Milano appeared three timed in last week's People.

Rose McGowan appears on page 96 of this week's In Touch.

Charmed is really awesome this season. Paige finally called Sam "dad" and it's definitely strengthened their father/daughter relationship.

"Charmed"'s Star Witch a Halloween Newbie
LOS ANGELES (AP) Oct. 27, 2005 - For someone who now plays a witch on "Charmed," Kaley Cuoco doesn't have much experience with Halloween.
Cuoco says her parents were overprotective about the holiday. She says they didn't like it. So, for many years, she was scared of it. She says even the costumes scared her. That changed last year when Cuoco went to her first Halloween party -- as a ballerina.
She says "it was great." She had "tons of candy and was totally sick afterward." "Charmed's" Halloween episode is Sunday. It's called "Kill Billie Volume One" and Cuoco's character, Billie, finds her life in danger.

DVD Review: Charmed: The Complete Third Season
Posted Thursday, November 17 2005 @ 10:56 AM PST by Jon Christensen
Filed under: DVD
I've never been a big fan of Charmed. It always seemed like one of those shows that tried to exploit sci-fi geeks with good looking girls in cheesy sci-fi filled situations (think Buffy but with Shannen Doherty). Well the third season is a big improvement over the previous two seasons, as it follows a single story arc and is less episodic.
Fantastic Four's Julian McMahon joins the cast playing Assistant District Attorney Cole Turner, who unsuccessfully prosecutes a demon-killer who attacks the Halliwell sisters' police ally, Inspector Morris. Already with that one sentence you can probably gather if you'd like such a show. Cole hooks up with Phoebe (played by the hot Alyssa Milano) before it's revealed that he's a demon. The inner battle between Cole's human and demon self is what makes this season good, never knowing what side he's really on.
The third season includes the following episodes: 1. The Honeymoon's Over, 2. Magic Hour, 3. Once Upon A Time, 4. All Halliwell's Eve, 5. Sight Unseen, 6. Primrose Empath, 7. Power Outage, 8. Sleuthing With The Enemy, 9. Coyote Piper, 10. We All Scream For Ice Cream, 11. Blinded By The Whitelighter, 12. Wrestling With Demons, 13. Bride and Gloom, 14. The Good, The Bad and The Cursed, 15. Just Harried, 16. Death Takes A Halliwell, 17. Pre-Witched, 18. Sin Francisco, 19. The Demon Who Came In From The Cold, 20. Exit Strategy, 21. Look Who's Barking, and 22. All Hell Breaks Loose.
This is Shannen Doherty's final season on the show, which makes me happy. You'll be surprised to learn that she is quite good behind the camera, directing the season's final episode.
All episodes are presented in full-screen with choice of English or French stereo tracks. The 22 episodes are spread over six discs which contain NO extra features whatsoever. We don't even get a making of EPK, never mind an audio commentary. Nonetheless, fans of the series will be sure to want this as part of their collection.
This season was praised by Charmed fans as the best yet, and I would have to agree. Does it mean that it's good? I'm not sure; it depends on what kind of television you like to watch. If you're a fan of Buffy and Smallville, check this one out - Rent it. If you're glued to Survivor and 24, stay away. And if you watch the show religiously, why don't you already own this?
Ad Report: You gotta love Paramount! They are one of the few companies that give you the option of going directly to the main menu or viewing the previews/advertisements. More studios should adopt this option and give the consumer the power to choose.
