Dragon Ball Z Due For Consoles
Atari announced that development is complete on Dragon Ball Z: Sagas, the first Dragon Ball Z action game for console systems, which will be available March 22 for the PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox. Since its introduction, the Dragon Ball Z video-game franchise has sold through more than 8 million units in the U.S., and the TV series is consistently ranked as one of the top-rated shows on Cartoon Network's Toonami Block, Atari said.
The release of Sagas coincides with FUNimation Productions' re-release of the first 67 episodes of Dragon Ball Z on home video.
Developed by Avalanche Software, Dragon Ball Z: Sagas offers fans and newcomers alike the opportunity to explore destructible DBZ environments and use their superhero abilities to complete exciting missions based on the first half of the animated series, from the Saiyan Saga through the Cell Games.

I watched a few of my sister's DragonballZ episodes. I didn't like the one where that hunter dude shot Bu's puppy. I may not like dogs, but that was mean. I haven't seen the episode that comes after that. I hope Bu kills that mean hunter. ;)

That was when Fat Buu showed he had a heart.

Oh! I am still new to Dragon BallZ. Hopefully one day I will be able to see all the show without the little bits & pieces in between.

Fat Buu ultimately became their friend.

No joke, Fat Buu/Mr Buu becomes their allie
But he DOES get his big pinky ass all blown up in Dragonball GT
Purple Ranger 14 - May 28, 2005 08:46 PM (GMT)
Thanks, in part, to Videl's dad. I won't say how.
SpiderX - April 21, 2008 02:56 PM (GMT)
It's a good thing they're putting out unedited box sets of the series now. I've got the first two, and they even have episodes that didn't air here in the states! This is some cool stuff here. :ph43r:
Lady Hawk - September 10, 2008 10:34 AM (GMT)
OMG! Dragon Ball Z the movie... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WhoooHoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P
SpiderX - September 11, 2008 12:21 PM (GMT)
They have Season 6 coming out on DVD this Tuesday. It's supposed to be the entire Cell Games saga, but they might have more than that. We'll just have to see.
As for the live-action movie, I'm curious to see that one. :ph43r:
whelp the dragon - September 11, 2008 07:39 PM (GMT)
Having only five channels really sucks, I now can only see dragonball when my friend feels like buying it as I do not have the money so far. I can't wait to see the cell games I saw a clip of it on youtube where android 16 or 17 has his head crushed and Gokus son goes super sayain 2. Can't wait to see it.
Purple Ranger 14 - September 12, 2008 02:49 AM (GMT)
Like I said in the video message, Dragonball is the theme for this section's Banner Poll because of the movie.
Wolf Warrior - September 12, 2008 03:04 AM (GMT)
What about this live action sequel i been hearing aboout ?
SpiderX - September 18, 2008 02:34 PM (GMT)
It's technically not a sequel, unless you've seen the Cantonese version (I think that's right; I looked it up on Wikipedia a while back). This one's supposed to be a little more in keeping with the original manga. It comes out in April, and has a great cast. :ph43r:
Wolf Warrior - September 22, 2008 03:17 AM (GMT)
No. I have only seen the english animated verison.
SpiderX - September 22, 2008 01:03 PM (GMT)
You're not missing anything then. This one coming out is more in keeping with the actual series than the Cantonese version. (They even changed the names in that version! ) I actually found the Cantonese version at Media Play years ago, and up until now, that was the only live-action movie of Dragonball out there.
I'd actually recommend watching any of the Dragonball episodes with Piccolo in it before seeing this movie. It may give you an idea about the plot of the movie. :ph43r:
SpiderX - January 13, 2011 10:54 PM (GMT)
What does everybody think of Dragon Ball Z Kai? There are a few differences between this one & the original, but I'd like to know which one you prefer. :ph43r:
Purple Ranger 14 - January 14, 2011 06:06 AM (GMT)
I don't watch it much unfortunately.
