Go to the Fourth Island, walk to the breeding center, don't go inside, walk towards the old man, follow the fence around. Stand in the corner, one fence on the left of you, and one to the north.
Now look at the Top-Left of your screen.
Are they keeping each other afloat?

O.K. I've messed this up, if you go where I said, you'll find two Nidoran (one male, one female) in the middle of a pond. I went to see it today, and I was wrong, they're standing in a puddle of water, my bad.
