Whenever I walk into a funeral home, nursing home, or a hospitol, I usually start getting a real uneasy feeling, like I'm going to pass out almost. This doesn't happen only in these buildings, but in other places, usually old houses. Sometimes I can feel odd presences, like that the group I'm with aren't the only ones there, even if we are. Also, I have seen weird figures, usually in the form of a human body. Most of the time I can also see blobs of different color wherever I walk. It isn't overpowering, I can tell it's only me that can notice it and it's not just the natural colors of the room. Am I just overly paranoid and need my eyes checked?

I always think its better to rule out medical causes first, like getting your eyes checked. If the Doc says your OK and you're still seeing blobs of color--time to explore more for paranormal causes.
Maybe the uneasy feeling at funeral homes is due to your own nervousness of the surroundings. Some people haven't become comfortable with death and dying (some people never do), and its their own nerves that cause feelings like that. Again, you might very comfortable and have a healthy attitude in regards to death, and maybe there is something paranormal going on. Rule out the medical and physical, then maybe work with other sensitives who might be able to help you hone your skills.

I went through this medical examination a few years ago because my eyes were starting to wane out and I would see blobs of colors moving around in locations I was at too.

I was sent all the way to the campus at the University of Minnesota's medical program and saw a specialist. And there was nothing medically wrong with me. However, I do have the same symptoms as before and am learning to deal with certain "abilites" that I was reported to have by a couple of psychics that my group has worked with.

What I am learning is that the abilities that most psychics have are often misconstrued. There are certain people who can see ghosts but cannot hear them, others can sense them but cannot see them, and the most important part that I have learned in my experiences is that it does not come so easy as some people think.

It is so hard that I often doubt my own growing abilities but our last investigation that we were at proved to me that what I am going through is really happening and that I can get certain things from the other side.

At the place we were at, (this is not on the website due to privacy policies and the investigation for the most part is swept under the rug statistically speaking by our group, but let me share my experience with you to a point) there was a child's bedroom in which I saw a little girl in a dress with tights and patton leather shoes on. She was playful and was crawling on her knees and wanted me to play with her. She didn't like it when the light was on and only came out of the closet when we turned it off. Her name started with an L and was like Loretta or Lynette. Something with double TTs in it.

After talking with the home owner, she reported that she had too encountered what was this little girl in her home and in that same room. In fact, she was folding linens in her daughter's room and thought her daughter came down to play and was playing in the closet. She also reported hearing sounds of someone playing or crawling on their knees. She thought it was her daughter and made a game of peekaboo out of it, but when she peeked in the closet to suprise her daughter, she was the one who was suprised as no one was there. And the sounds stopped the moment she peered into the closet.

So I was pretty dead on with that. It gave me goosebumps but also made me smile in relief to know that I was not going crazy and not imagining these abilities. Like I said earlier, I often doubt my abilities and am not confident about it because I am not the one who likes to really on psychics but rather equipment. However as I am told often, you do not choose the gift, the gift chooses you.

Another thing that I just found out today about the last investigation we did (which was on Feb. 11) was that when I was walking the location by myself, I felt someone peering down my shoulder and carefully watching me as if I was going to do something wrong. The names "Ralph" and "Charlie" were jumping back and forth in my head and I mentioned this to the homeowner and my group. Not too much was known about this detail by the home owner and we skipped over that detail.

Today I was told a significant detail by a member of my group who had talked to the homeowner. During our investigation, the homeowner got frightened by staying at the home and went to her aunt's home while we did this investigation. Her aunt previously owned the home and the two of them were discussing the issue of the home and that our group was investigating it.

The home owner was told by her aunt that when she had lived there, her daughter had an imaginary man who she said was very protective of the home and his name was "Charlie."

I hit the nail right on the head again. Suprised the hell out of me and gave me more confidence in my abilities.

I guess my advice to you would be to get the medical things checked out and if you still believe that you are getting "sensitive" to spirits to talk to a local psychic that you trust or to go pick up the book (which I am currently reading) "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Communicating with Spirits."

But please be aware that this is not a very easy thing to live with as I havent told too many people that I know and those that I have told it is often a difficult thing to discuss. People will either see you as someone who is a novelty and want their fortunes read (which is not the kind of psychic that I am turning into) or they will see you as a liar or a freak, which in my profession as a ghost hunter is not something I want to be see as seeing as the group relies heavily on trust and helping the client.

This is why you will only see these types of stories on the message boards as a way to help someone else who is having these possible type of problems and you will not find these stories on the website. It's not something that I want to be seen as other than when it comes in a helpful manner.

I'm really glad you shared that Adam. I think that in the field of paranormal study that's a very dicey issue and I very much respect how you're handling your newer abilities. May I ask - did you have some - even a minimal level of abililty before you started doing investigations or was this an entirely new phenomenon?

I did have some abilities but they have definitely grown as I progress with my investigations and experience.

How do I qualify to have you come out here to my home for an invistigation! I hear things all the time and now my 14 year old son has seen a mans face in the reflection of a picture that was in front of him as he sat on the floor of his bedroom hang out room. He said he felt the cold cold chill on his arm next to him and looked and saw nothing but then he looked at the picture framed in front of him and saw an older man, longer skinny face, with short dark hair. We dont know what this Russell Lentz looked like but I would put money on it that was him. I dont know if it would be something I could go across the street to russells home and ask them if they have a picture we could see or if that would be intruding!
Im at a loss here. I am deathly afraid to see something in my mirrors or window, picture,tv reflections! I dont know that i could handle that. I hear so much going on around me and feel someone. There are 2 mens voices we hear often and my dog barks at air all the time and runs and hides under my bed. I am just about ready to move but have nowhere to go!

We'd love to come but our problem is with the travel.

We are in the middle of trying to get new members into the group since we have one member that never shows up and another one is expecting a child so she has taken a remote position with our group.
