I have seen and lived with a spirit in most of the houses I've lived in, so I'm used to it by now. But recently there has been a lot of activity. There is a spirit of a little girl in my house, I see her sometimes walking towards me or going from room to room. Sometimes I will even feel her behind me, or feel a cold hand on my shoulder or my hair being pulled gently behind me. Sometimes the lights will flicker or I'll hear noises that noone else in the house can hear. Noone has ever whitnessed anything unusual in this house besides me. Except my dog, she seems to see things when I do and the hair on her back stands up. She just stands there and watches. It seldomly happens, or used to. I told the spirit that it was okay that she stay here, about a week ago. Since then there has been more activity and I believe I have seen a new figure, a man of about 6'4 or so. He seems a bit shy, as the girl isn't. I was wondering if he has always been here or has she brought him in the house assuming I don't mind living with them? I have told them politely to move on or stay out of sight, which they stay quiet and I stop seeing things for a while, but they come back. I think they won't go because I allowed her to stay, and they could just be afraid to cross over. Oh by the way I was just sitting and watching T.V. today and the names James and Julia popped into my head, I don't know what to think of it, if it could be their names or what? I have also seen what I thought was a white cat, and Any thoughts/advice? I really don't know what to do here. As I was reviwing this before posting I have felt a finger poking me in the shoulder like someone's trying to get my attention, and now back to the hair pulling.

Brian, I was thinking about what you wrote. Granted, it’s wonderful that there is proof that there is life after death, but as most ghost hunters know and believe that there is. I feel very sad for the ghosts that are in your home. They are missing out of being where they need to go.

The names you picked up on could very well be the names of the spirits living with you. Ask them to move on to the light, so they can complete their cycle. If they don’t know where to find the light tell them they can find it in a funeral home. The light is there for everyone to use.

I personally believe in reincarnation, (granted I would like to haunt a few people before I move on) but I would like to be able to have the chance to come back again. Shouldn’t they have that chance too? Going into the light isn’t the end of things, just a new beginning.
