Title: Haunting?? or is it just me
Description: Blind rage

Something very strange happened yesterday for which I cannot find an explanation. I had a strong desire to leave the house in the morning which is unusual for me.'
When I got home, I noticed that the new blinds in the kitchen were every which way by loose. The strings were broken and the slats were going in every direction. My first inclination was to blame the dogs, specifically the nine month old pup as he had chewed on the previous ones. I was angry, very angry and yelled at them. They were outside while I was gone and I do not recall the blinds being that way prior to my leaving.
Decidinig to leave it at that, it wasn't until a while later when I went into the front room to answer the door when I noticed that there were two more blinds that had been altered. Both of these were from the top, again the strings were broken and they were bowed. One was one of the new blinds, the other was an old set. The old one was just bent in the corner, the top three slats bent down.
Of course now I felt guilty about yelling at the dogs.
Strange things have happened before and I laughingly put it off on my house being haunted. Things like figurines falling from shelves that had been there for years, a glass piece flying off a shelf in my downstairs bathroom. It did not fall straight down, but several feet from the shelf.
I was too angry to be afraid yesterday. Sure could use some insight on this.

It sounds like you *could* have something but I would suggest exhausting all possible explanations before assuming that it is. Maybe it would be good to start a journal on these occurences - Describe what happened - what time of day..... take note of conditions and see if you can find a common denominator. ie - if you have figurines falling off shelves and stuff - make sure it's not because you live next to the airport and the vibrations from the planes coming over doesn't vibrate them off etc. But I think if you can sort of start linking your 'unexplained' phenomenon together....... it's the place to start. You may find a particular time of day to look into or part of the lunar cycle. Whatever. Just document all you can for now though! And try your best to rule out all possible non-paranormal explanations first!
