Title: College Dorm Activity

feathers - December 22, 2005 08:40 AM (GMT)
I came across this website on a fluke, had never really had an interest in the paranormal. But after doing some reading I decided to go back and look at some pictures I had.

Is it common for college dorms to have activity? Alot of the pictures of my daughter in her dorm room seem to have several orbs on them. This is creepy, no way would I ever mention this to her, she would freak out I think. But just wanted to know if this happens a lot with college dorms.

I have seen it written that all schools of every type attract them because of the high energy that collects there. Even more so than hospitals and nursing homes!

There is so much emotional and physical changes and stress in colleges I wouldn't be surprised if they were active. If not from sprits, than just from the energy itself that gets stirred up.

it could be but you also have to look closly at the orbs sumtimes dust is mistaken for orbs

This is very true but you have to admitt....when you see an orb in a pic...it has a certain hue around it that clearly lets you know its not just dust. Sometimes they move about within seconds of another shot and sometimes they are gone all together without wiping the lens. Its a close call on that subject in most peoples eyes. Ü

I think any building where large numbers of people take up residence for even the shortest amount of time is more apt to be haunted just because of the traffic coming through there. Just look at it for the stats - more people - more possiblities for a ghost. Doesn't mean it will be haunted but I think your chances can be very good.

Which dorm in particular is being asked about here? I know of several of them around MN. Maybe I can help?

Basically what I would have said in this situation. :) Very good!

There are also alot of cases of dormrooms being haunted we have done one invstigation on one already and have another set up for later this year.
so i would say it is very possible, look at the list for haunted Minnesota there are alot of schools/dorms list this supports fygets theory as well as many others.

The dorm I am talking about is Evans Hall at Carleton in Northfield Mn.

And only the pictures in my daughter's dorm room have these orbs. The ones she takes here at home never have this on them.

Some pictures have them and the very next picture taken right away there are none sometimes.

Of course I have never mentioned this to her, don't want her to freak out.

maybe this is because you clean more than she and her roomate do? :) You never know! Has she mentioned anything in particular being odd about the room?
