I live in Hastings, not far from the LeDuc Mansion. It's an old 19th century mansion here in town that has been recently restored, and now is open for tours in the summer months and during the Christmas season. I remember reading awhile ago on a MN ghost/hauntings website (I can't remember which one) that there is supposedly a ghost of a servant who hanged herself there. I don't have any more info other than that.
Whats funny is one night last Spring my husband was walking one of our dogs and cut behind the house and swears someone was looking at him from one of the windows. The house was still under renovation at the time, so it could have been a contractor staying there late, but my husband got really scared by it. He said it was just a really weird feeling.
I haven't been through there, but walk by a lot. I hope to see the inside when they have the Christmas stuff going on, but knowing my luck it'll be on my weekend to work.
Has anyone else heard of this place? If any of you travel to Treasure Island on 61 you've passed by it!
I have, I can just imagine what it was like to be a resident there. Your whole town is pretty neat. Gives off a nice small town atmosphere still. Would be cool to get in there at night time.
I've heard of it - but not that it has activity. Interesting!
