Title: First Time

What was it like the first time you saw an apparition?

For me, the first time was at a private residence and there was myself and another investigator on the same flloor. The floorplan was like:

The red dots are the origin and end for the entity's movement throughout the home. It started in the master's bedroom as of what seemed to be like running footsteps. This was witnessed by my partner who was in the hallway near the 2nd bedroom. (marked by the blue x)

The entity continued into the dining area/living room area where I was located. It seemed to be a figure made of television static about 5 foot 1 or so, possibly female, and humanlike. It turned its head at me while in motion, started to stop in like a sliding motion on its heels, and made what I call "eye contact" and vanished. Total time eclipsed about 20-30 seconds.

Both investigators eyewitnessed the entity in human motion from point A to point B.

Mine was more poltergeistish. I was in my dad's garage, alone in the morning, and thee was this mist that was forming in it. Once I got down there, the mist seemed to be everywhere. Then, a 15 pound industrial wrench came off the wall, dropped, then pulled a 90 degree turn in mid-air, and slammed into the opposite wall.

i personally have never seen an apparition well i might have once but i attribute seeing a translucent farmer in overalls to to much sudafed and not enough sleep, it would be cool though, scary but cool

Mine was 15 or so years ago. I was sitting alone in my car in a parking lot, waiting for a friend to arrive. It was about 10 pm, warm summer evening. Parking lot was vacant except for me, but lit by the parking lot lights. I watched a jogger, 30ish male with shorts and a t-shirt coming down the shoulder of the road. He looked at me in the parking lot, turned to come into the parking lot and was jogging toward me. I rolled down my widow because I thought he was coming to talk to me. Then he turned back toward the road. At this point I noticed that he appeared somewhat translucent. As soon as that thought entered my head he literally morphed into a small ball of light and sped away at about a 45 degree angle into the sky.

I've seen a few more since.

I have yet to see one myself but I sure catch a ton of movement out the corner of my eye in my house all the time! My 14 year old son said he felt a chill on his arm as he sat in his 6 x 18 hangout closet in his room and he turned to see if someone was there and saw nothing. He looked straight ahead at his picture of a deer he had yet to hang up since we just moved here and saw a mans reflection sitting next to him. He described him very clear. He said he was older man, thin long faced with short dark hair. I have yet to knock on the neighbors door and ask if she has a picture of her late husband Russell Lentz that shot himself in their basement 25 years ago as he suffered from cancer treatments. The old owner of my new home swears its him but we cant be sure without a pic to compare that vision my son had! Any suggestions on how to approach the neighbor widow? Or would there perhaps be a archive at the news paper with a photo from that long ago?

My parents thought it was cool back in the the 70's to buy a vacant Victorian farmhouse outside of Madison, Wisconsin. Not only tons of work to restore but lots of activity. Some good and some bad. I have always been a sensitive....my younger brother has the gift too.

I worked at Glensheen for many years that was when I finally realized that paranormal activity exists and I seem to see, forsee, and hear things that others do not.

I honey mooned tripped at the glen sheen mansion 20 years ago and they wouldnt even let us up stairs where the murders took place....it was kind of a bummer! So what activity did you experience there?

I was in the shower room of the barracks. It was about 9PM and I was the only one in there. There was a blurry-glass wall between the shower and dressing area. I noticed someone in red standing on the other side of that wall, I didn't think anything of it, just thought it was someone in a red bathrobe. I finished rinsing and noticed no one was in the room, and no one had left anything on the dressing bench. At that time I also remembered that I never heard the door open or close, and it was a very heavy door that would bang shut. Needless to say I got a little spooked, grabbed my stuff, wrapped a towel around me, and ran for my room!

Deene Marie.....the murder of the nurse occured on the landing of the Main Stair case. All tours pass this area....were you thinking of the third floor stairs, there is a creepy sensation there. Miss Elisabeth was smothered in the gray & pink bedroom. That is the bedroom to the left of the Main staircase and next to the third stairs.

As for experiences, there were many. Scientifically, film and video had lots of ectoplasma and battery problems. Motions detectors, radios and lights going on and off after the security had been set. Telephone and intercoms ringing that had been disabled.

Thanks for visting the mansion. It is a beautiful estate..

When we were there they had the entire staircase roped off....we never got past the first floor at all! They werent even allowed to talk about it or answer our questions! I still remember the beauty like it was yesterday! Have they opened ALL floors up for tours now? I will make a point to get there this summer...I have 3 teens that would love to see it!
Thanks for the story! Ü
