Ever since I was a child, I am very fond of supernatural stories. I dont know why. I like listening to ghost stories, looking at pics/videos that supposedly have ghosts in them. I do believe in ghosts though, I have a few supernatural-related encounters in the past. I just want to know about your own supernatural-related experiences. ^_^

Honestly i have no supernatural experience of any kind. I do have dreams and people will often tell me its premonitions. But for me, they're just dreams.

But i do have one curious trait that most people claim i have.

Whenever im around, they say supernatural beings stay quiet. So far five people who hardly know each other had told me it happened to them in several occasions. One, who happens to be spiritually sensitive, claimed that i possess an unusual aura that stems from my innermost sense of disbelief, and these supernatural beings tend to shun from that particular aura. It just so happens this "aura" of mine covers a very wide area.

Naturally im very very skeptical about this explanation. Its like something that sprung out of Magic The Gathering cards.

Yowzer.

That's cool though, eva_guy. It's better than what happened to a close friend of mine. Although she thinks it's normal, it freaked even the TEACHERS out whenever she recounted the story during high school.

She was sleeping, when suddenly she woke up ... only to have red eyes staring back at her. she blinked, and saw that the eyes were gone ... only to turn towards her older sister (until recently they shared rooms) and see that an old woman, colored red and hovering (literally - her feet were high up in the air) over her older sister!

Ok, I just told the short version of it. For the scarier version you'll have to ask her yourselves - but she's not a part of this group. :P

In Dr. Fujita's advice column I said that I come from a psychic family. To a certain extent, it was true - my late maternal grandmother, who went up to Mount Banahaw every Holy Week before her death, had seen many things which she told me to keep private. My little sister - Dark_Moon met her during my debut - saw the exact way my grandmother would die and how her eventual wake and interment would go (with all the details ... like my grandmother's coffin being made of bronze metal, with no glass to keep her body from exposure to the elements, and that it would be flooded during the wake - and it wasn't typhoon season when she died!), and even found some ghosts frequenting in school.

I've tried to open my third eye, and although I don't know for sure, I think I DO have some semblance of clairvoyance - but it's too weird to describe. --;

Having fun yet guys? :sadako:

Anyway, up until now I'm a bit of a skeptic. There have been strange occurances in my life, but eventually, I was able to find a logical reason for them (one even included sleep paralysis). But for those of which until now have no concrete explanations...

1. During a blackout (which was common during the early 90's), Me and a friend were talking on the phone. It was pitch dark and I was the only one in our house. It was a small house and the upper floor was made of wood. After a while, I heard someone knock on the wooden floor above me three times, and it was loud enough for my friend to hear it, too.

2. While watching a late show (I think it was Che Che Lazaro) in our living room, I heard a girl cry out in anguish in my room, as if having lost a loved one. I didn't sleep in my room for a few nights

3. I slept over at a friend's house with another friend. I was to sleep besides the host while our other friend slept on the mat besides the bed. As I was about to sleep, something ran its fingers on my leg down to my feet. I freaked out and literally jumped up, and scolded my friend not to do that again. He insisted it wasn't him, and it would have been impossible for our other friend.

4. I had to stay in our old house in Quezon City for the night to watch over some things (We were already staying in Mandaluyong City during this time). The house had no electricity and it was almost bare. I slept in the kitchen on an old beach chair (the one which you can adjust so it could lean far back) for reasons which are not anymore clear to me. In the middle of the night, I woke up to find myself in the arms of a wraith-like creature. It was wearing a cloak, and I can't see its face because it was hidden in a hood. When I tried looking at its face, it just shook its "head", as if disappointed... then I went back to sleep while in its arms. When I woke up in the morning, I was lying on the bed in one of the bedrooms. The thing that most baffled me was the fact that I didn't seem bothered at all while that creature was carrying me.

The fourth one was the freakiest of the bunch. When we moved to that area back in the early 80's we were one of the first "settlers" there. The area was almost completely covered in brush. On special occasions, my mom would cook unsweetened kakanin and place it on the corners of our lot to appease whatever is living with us.

Some of the other freaky tales connected to that house:

-During the time the house was being built, my father saw a headless little girl in a school uniform standing by our doorway.

After we moved to Mandaluyong City, we decided to put the house up for rent, many families lived in that house, but there was this one family which seemed to be a favorite among the other occupants of the house. these are some of their tales that I can remember:

-While one of the tenants was pregnant, she sat down on the sofa in the living room and found a ghoul (tiyanak) on the other end of the sofa. It disappeared after she screamed.

-The husband decided one day to cut down our macopa tree. After he struck the first blow, he felt a sharp pain on his hand. When he looked at the hand holding the machete, it had a large cut and was bleeding profusely. The macopa tree was unscathed. Many of our former neighbors can attest to this because they saw what happened and some of them were even the ones who rushed the guy to the hospital.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Haha, supernatural body odor O_o

I got a few things to share. I was too lazy to type these at the time I made this thread. Anyways,

-This one is quite funny..but I know i was awake at the time. In our old home in Quezon City, me and my sister woke up very early (around 3 or 4 am) and so we went out to our 'garden' and sat on the chair there.We were singing while I noticed a shadow 'flying' it seemed to came from our neighbor's window. The funny part was, it looked like ghosts we see on cartoon tv. You know those cloth thingys with two holes for the eyes, and another hole for the mouth. The 'ghost' didnt look 3Dish though..it's like a shadow..flying. lol.

-My grandma's house in Olongapo. We slept in this room (me and my cousins). It is always my habit to cover my face with a pillow whenever I am sleeping. Suddenly, I heard the door of the room opened and then it will close..repeating the same thing over and over again (everyone was asleep) . And there was no wind. I was so tempted to look but I opted to wait for it to stop. which it did after about 5 minutes or so. ^^;;

-The third was while I was having my Java Programming training 3 years ago at Tektite Tower (schedule was 6-9 pm). We always get a break every 8:30 pm. I wanted to go to the comfort room although I didnt really need to go to the CR at the time, if you know what I mean. the other female in our group didnt come along. When I entered the CR, I heard someone who seemed to be trying to get out from one of the cubicles (as if someone was locked inside the cubicle.he/she was banging the door). I was thinking about whether to continue going inside and see or leave the CR. I decided to leave. lol.

-Just recently, my sister was on a night shift so I was alone in our room. I saw a floating colorful thingy near our ceiling. It's probably just a reflection from the lights outside (the lights in the room are already turned off) but I've never seen anything like it before.

-Years ago, I dreamed about our flourescent lamp falling towards me (cos we had this light in our room that you had to push with a long stick to make it work). The next day, while I was doing that, my dreamed happened. The flourescent bulb fell right towards me. I dunno how I managed to catch it with my right hand though (considering that I am a poor 'catcher') . It seemed that i had this sort of premonition thingy with my dream. I'm just thankful it didnt crash right to my face O_o

-Almost got ran over by this speeding jeepney before, while I was crossing the street. It overtook a parked car, so I didnt see it coming. I dunno how I found the time to argue with myself whether to continue walking to the other side or come back to the sidewalk (believe it or not, I really tried to think about where to go..it seemed like it took me 3-5 seconds, considering that the jeep was running so fast.). Later on I decided to go back to the sidewalk..It's just weird how everything seemed to be in slow motion at the time. I'm just thankful I'm still alive. ^^

-When I was a kid, 3-4 years old I think. I crashed through the glass of our cabinet while playing beside my baby sister. None of the glass scratched us O_o

I guess Guardian angels are true ^^ :turn:

Oh yeah, I just remembered this after reading your post:

I was on my way to the hardware when someone yanked me back while I was in the middle of the road. At almost the exact same moment, an L-300 delivery van came speeding some 2 feet in front of me. I looked back, and there was no one behind me. :stare:

Speaking of strange phenomena, a lot has happened to me already. I used to believe that ghosts and paranormal occurences are just stories being made up by people in order to attract attention, for fun or for whatever silly ideas they have in mind. It was not until I fully discovered, and according to some psychologists, that I have a rare affinity with these "beings", both pertaining to the conscious and unconscious state of mind.

I found out all of this after consulting a psychologist who believes in paranormal occurences (not all psychologists do) after being consistently haunted by a disturbing, morbid dream of vomitting blood and looking at the mirror and not seeing my reflection, and it happened every morning in a continous streak. Im just happy im already over it.

Some events I'd like to share with you.

- Saw a dwarf when I was 10 yrs old. The dwarf looked a lot like Yoda, cept that he's brown and he's wearing a green robe of some sorts. He disappeared quickly when I screamed.

- Saw a small ball of fire wandering atop a balete tree located in our backyard back then (to be exact, the backyard of a neighborhood). I ran for my life fearing that it might be the "upos" of a kapre, and from then on I never looked at that tree again.

- Yep. They're called SCHMOOs. There were instances when I saw "things" like that in our current home here in Project 6, and for a fact they're harmless and they hardly interfere with human activities. I read it from my brother's black book. Yep, he's keeping one. I am completely aware of the book's nature and derivation but on strange occurences like these, the book helps a lot to easy my curiosity and fear of the unknown.

Aside from these strange "beings", I also believe in angels. The latter is more true and believable in every respect. Ill post it later, im too lazy to type down my stories, hehe :lol:

Well, I have very little to contribute to this post since, for some reason, I'm not "lapitin". I believe in supernatural stuff, though, because, well, it happens to some people I know and trust and whom I know will not lie to me for any reason whatsoever. Also because my MOTHER (a very avid fan of the subject) has TONS of books on it, which I end up reading. (Palmistry, birthdays, astrology, tarots, ghosts, Jaime Licauco... except for books on witchcraft, you name it, we've got it.)

Anyway, my not being "lapitin" is actually a good thing, at least for me. ^_^ I cover my eyes with a pillow before sleeping like Rogue, too --- my motto is: "Dumaan-daan na kayo sa harap ko, okay lang, huwag ko lang kayo makita."

The only supernatural events that happen to me usually occurs when I'm asleep. I've had a lot of those dreams where you think you're awake, but then find that you can't move. The first time it happened, I thought it was just my pillow blocking my vision, because it was so dark. But when I try to move my hand to take the pillow away from my face, it won't move, and then I realize that I'm still asleep, so I begin struggling to wake myself up, combined with litanies of "Oh God please help me wake up."

When I do open my eyes my heartbeat's racing and it feels like I just learned how to breathe. I guess we call this "bangungot"?

And I'd also have dreams within a dream --- I think I'm awake but it turns out I'm still dreaming. ^^;

Then there are my nightmares... the cliche ones where you wake up in the middle of the night and feel like something/someone is in the room with you. I don't like those. Usually they're preceded by dreams of demons.

I know I'm weird when I say this, but my dreams feel real. Ah well, overactive subconscious I guess. ^_^

Hello. Got this from Manang Elly.

"Hi! Just wanted to send you this photo taken this week at eastwood libis. 3 silang magkaibigan namasyal dun, may dala yung isa na celfon 7250 ata, yung may video & camera. Then nagpakuha silang 2 (girls) dun sa kasama nila. Picture taking lang. Then after that nakita nila sa screen ng celfon

7250 may kasama na sila sa photo nakahawak sa braso nung isang girl sa
leftside unknowingly. Di nila na feel or nakita kasi dalawa lang talaga sila
na nagpa picture dun sa isa nilang kasama. The girls were really shouting &
shocked to see the picture taken after a minute. Remember na capture ng
video ang hindi nila nakita in actual. Grabe this is true kasi friend ng
dauther ng boss ko ang involved dito. They immediately forwarded the picture message to my boss then dinala sa office. Yun pinakita sa amin last tuesday.

I was really gulat kakatakot talaga grabe totoo eto. They are just
magbarkada having gimik at libis that night then picture2 ayun may kasama
pala sila all the while. We really need to pray for GOD'S PRESENCE ALL THE
TIME especially sa gabi..."

'Di ako sure kung totoo, pero parang posible kasi kung titingnan n'yo 'yung pic, 'dun sa 2 girls naka-focus 'yung cam... parang sumingit lang talaga 'yung kung anuman 'yang nilalang na 'yan... :ph43r:

I've only encountered supernatural beings twice, and the most recent one has definitely traumatized me. --;

I woke up at around 2:55 am last May 25. Something was holding me down across the chest, and was breathing down my neck. I think it had its leg between my legs. I could even hear it moaning. I was so shocked that I couldn't move. After a few seconds, I hit my matress really hard and snarled angrily. The thing that was holding me down went away.

I called my dad, and when he came into my room, I started crying. I was really scared.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the thing was actually an incubus. :petrify:

Girl, that is SCARY!!! :petrify:

...Actually, Mr. Licauco described in one of his articles in the Philippine Daily Inquirer that there are some malevolent psychics who are able to project themselves astrally to as far as other countries, and then rape women in their sleep. The women are powerless against these strong, and utterly evil, psychic men because they really are quite overpowering.

I have to admit though, I THINK something similar happened to me ... because when I woke up, for some reason my pants were down! :o :petrify: ;_; I don't think anyone at home could have done it because the only man in my house (my dad) was out that night, and I for a fact can tell that he hadn't been home till the next morning (I'm a light sleeper).

Gee!!! Good thing I woke up before anything worse happened!

What? Psychics?? Well, they might get what's coming to them someday...astral projection isn't really a good thing, you know.

There was this guy who just learned how to project himself, and he kept on doing it for a couple of nights. One night, he was going back to his body, and he saw some ghosts/souls staring at his body as if to say "I want to have a human body again."

After that, he never projected himself again.

i've seen the movie bangkok haunted...it's not that scary unlike the ring and the eye...

hmmm... ghost story???

when i was around 10 or 11 years old me and my family went to baguio and we slept at the NFA housing there. My bed was on the window side of the room wherein the windows were 3 meters wide and 2 meters high... i was the only one lying on the bed coz my two sisters were sleeping on the other bed, my parents on the otherhand were on the veranda of the building having some chats with their officemates... going back to the room...as i was saying... i was staring at the window and then sunddenly i saw a black thing and moreover the worst part was it was flapping its wings that made me terrified and i was petrified then...all i did was close my eyes and i fell asleep...when i woke up... i had stiff-neck coz i noticed that i didn't even change my position since last night...

what do you think of the thing that i saw then??? my conclusion was it was a Manananggal....
