Hehe yeah! Pero in a way, Takumi used his brains as well. It was said in the anime that Takumi is a prodigy in his own ways, unseen by most of the drivers in his area. So maybe, his being skillful is also a form of technical/logical thinking. <_<

DVD? Meron ako pero VCD. Pwede ko pahiram yun if you really want to see the series :P

No news up until now. However according to Shigeno Shuichi, he's not planning to end the series on the 4th stage. In fact, given the time and budget for Kodansha, he'll even push on as far as the 6th stage. I also heard that the Kengai team will be formalized on the 4th stage, and that they will be facing another team from another prefecture of Japan. Rumors are also flying about a Honda team, wc is yet unconfirmed. B)

Pardon the ignorance but ... last I heard, it's an unfinished manga...

Right now I'm majorly hooked on Groove Adventure Rave (although for shame, why couldn't they have had opening and ending themes which did justice to both the show's premise AND its rockin' title?! -__- In fairness however, the 2nd opening song was REALLY cute and the storyline just blew me away...) and Hana Yori Dango, courtesy of a good friend.

Ah ... how I miss watching HYD in Cantonese, even if I don't understand a bloody word they'd said. ;_;

hehehe i hope they make a live action initial D hehehe pero i dont think it will happen kasi they have to look for skilled drivers... pero still wishing!!!! ;)

come to think of it, not really similar. i guess its similar in the sense that its connected to an academic setting (highschool and todai...)...and/or studying. love hina is more wacky, in a sense that keitaro is always bossed around by his girls... karekano is funny in a sense that even serious situations they have goofy/sd drawings.

i think love hina focused somehow fulfilling childhood romance and childhood dreams....

karekano focused not only on dropping "masks" and being truly oneself but also the web of relationships one has with friends, family and lovers.

mas mushy lang i guess yung theme ng love hina, imho....

eeps! better stop na. nahahala ako ;)
