Whats the history of username and why?

I am asking this because as far as orums go, we are all known by our usernames.

(Silly topic ba? Hehehe...)

It's been my nickname ever since I started joining mailing lists. "Mei" is how my real name "May" is pronounced... tapos "ko"... a term used for girls (while as "ro" naman is used for guys).

minamic is minami chiba, a character i wrote for a fanfic during my sailormoon obsession days. she is otherwise known as mamoru's younger sister. ^_^ hence, when i say "oniichan" i refer to mamoru.

Thinks real hard how he got the username "Eva_Guy01"

How about you Ryanclive? What's the history behind your username?

I wanted saito for my Yahoo! username, but being a common Japanese name, it was already taken. So I took his other name instead and attached it to his occupation. It's been my online identity since.

in my high school days...internet dial-up industry was just starting then, i wanted to create an email account for myself in hotmail...tried thinking of a very catchy name...couple of wildgals were already taken, so ive included "ace" in the front....

...dont really get too rowdy in public, ask my close friends, asa loob ang kulo ko.... ;)

never get to be active on forums or chats (ngayon lang)...i use different usernames on different groups. like the name on my email accounts say Anime Galactic Majordomo...that majordomo role is my position as an overseer in my older sister's anime galactic harem of bishies.

well the 1st username i used and still using is tropicalpisces.... wanted to get something else for the name but the name i first thought of is already used so i just used tropicalpisces... tropicalpisces... tropical = philippines is a tropical country nuff said.... pisces = i am a piscean nuff said

lol, the history of Eva_guy's name is interesting.

Anyways, I have been an avid Rogue fan since my High School days. I collected comicbooks 'till College (i stopped for financial reasons). ^^

Being the Kenshin Fan that I am I've been using "shinta" my whole internet life. People online know me as one of the anime-wallers-out-there.

"Xaito" I didn't get from Saito Hajime. The name popped out of my head and I use it when the "shinta" username is not available. Backup ko sya.

I got mine from Ryan, my second name, and Clive (Suikoden) my favorite character of all time. My real name is Richard but somehow people always call me by my second name. When I tried signing up for a Yahoo account, all variations I made for Clive was already taken, and since richardclive is somewhat long, I finally resorted to ryanclive.

After that, I placed "Takumi Fujiwara" or "Takumi" as my screen name, but just like my real name, it was never used and most of the people on the internet, including mailing lists and chatrooms, called me ryanclive.

well my user name... ummm as you can see below my signature m email account is Type_R and well its suppose to be civic type r but that the email i used for my yahoo groups and forums... hehe ok i still havnt answered the question... well what i mean is im really very into cars... i really like cars, well actually i love cars hehehe and eversince ive been collecting magazines about cars.(well hindi na ngayon because of financial ekek) well thats the history of my username... ohhh yeah by the way mazda rx 8 is the new version of the rx 7... i think ryouske is the one using the rx 7 (as far as i can remember) used in the X men 2 movie yun lang ^_^ :D

I have three user names that I usually use, default one is usually soniabea because that's my real name. --;
Second one is the one I'm using now, skyjade, which is a literal translation of my chinese name. ;)
And the last one is SilverBlade, has a little bit of history to it --back in the days of yore when radio communication was the "in" thing in our province, all of us siblings (whose names all start with the letter S) had codenames that start with silver (uso pa kasi silverhawk nun XD ). Then there was Sonya Blade of Mortal Kombat. So go figure! :P

i usually use "ayako_rose" as my username in my email adds,ym id and in other forums 'coz they said i looked like her(ayako of SD) just after i cosplayed her...

Rikku Rose- rikku is my all-time fave game character and since i recently cosplayed her, i decided to use her name as my forum nick here...

btw, rose is my real name, heehee, short for rosemarie^_^ :P

yung kuro_itsuki:when i was writing in college, i was wanting a jap character name. kuroi meant black(adjective). tinanggal ko na lang yung "i" so parang noun. yung itsuki got from this character named itsuki form yu yu hakusho(yung palaging kasama ni sensui). so combination lang. pag pinagsama, kuro_itsuki can mean black moon or black forest.

yung nitelotus: sa ibang yahoo id ko. derived from the nick i use sa mirc dati when i chat. nite bec. i love the night time and lotus because i love the lotus flower.

jani-panda:nick na jani tapos mahilig kasi ako sa tare-panda kaya combi ko lang.
