HARUKA: Isn't it ironic that when you plan things down to their last detail, something just INEVITABLY crops up so as to keep you from doing it completely?

Well, that's what's going to happen to me for the next six to eight weeks.

I KNOW I promised to go to AnimExplosion in costume, but I now realize I made such a rash, unrealistic promise without any thought for consequences.

FADE UP THM THEN UNDER FOR

HARUKA: The most painful irony of it all is that just two Thursdays ago, I was shamelessly parading my costume inside my college and advertising about the event during one of our class productions, thinking that I'd have the time and energy to actually participate.

However, I really must focus all my attentions on my academics now. I'm so close to the finish line and yet also very close to flunking 12 out of 21 units this semester. And as always, my time, money and energies must go to my production classes, which are my priorities at this moment in time.

FADE UP THM AT CLIMAX THEN UNDER FOR

HARUKA: Hence, I am very sorry to inform everyone in the Philippine cosplay community that <b>starting TODAY, 14 FEBRUARY 2005, I, Haruka-chan, will be on hiatus until THURSDAY, 31 MARCH 2005</b>. I MAY still appear in some events during this time, but, as you very well know, I will only be there as an occasional spectator or as a stand-upper reporter. I may not even be as visible online as I usually am (and these days my presence is already a rarity). However, there WILL be instanes when I will need to meet some of you for non-cosplay purposes ... in which case, please email me your mobile phone and home telephone numbers as soon as possible, preferably through YM (haruka173) or the service here.

I hope everyone understands. Thank you very much for everything Good luck in your costumes, and see you in April!
