Good day to you! We are third year Broadcast Communication students from the Diliman campus of the University of the Philippines. For this semester we are taking up Broadcast Communication 102 (BC 102), a class in the radio production series. In partial fulfillment of our requirements for this class, we are tasked to hold a PERSONALITY INTERVIEW-CUM-COMMENTARY SHOW for one hour in tandem at DZUP 1602 AM, the official radio station of the campus. The date and time assigned to us for the show are 23 September of this year, at 11:00 in the morning.
We have decided to discuss the Japanese animation (animé) phenomenon in the Philippines and the fandom it has inspired. With this in mind, we thought it best to approach you to become a guest in our show. (Each host is required ONLY ONE GUEST/INTERVIEWEE for the show.) Notwithstanding the fact that we ourselves are animé fans, we believe that your presence in the radio show will enlighten the university student body about the current state of both animé and its fandom in the country through fans who also happen to be movers and shakers within the fan community. This may also provide you with an opportunity to make your activities known to the student body.
