Hehehe, are we such "Anime Nerds"? Apparently someone in the US decided there was these certain species of nerds just needs to be put to sleep as a humanitarian gesture. The way i see it, he just listed down the extreme side of being an Anime Enthusiast.

But frankly, it poses a lot of truths about our own stock of Anime Ner.. este Enthusiasts. B)

Hmm, agree ako dun sa mga ibang points nya, and considering westerna anime enthusiasts marami talaga akong nakitang ganyan sa kanila.

Okay ! I'm currently in the US and damn! I checked out the anime scene here and all i can say is .... IT'S SO TRUE !!!!! grabe!

I was at Fobbiden Planet and I felt so alone .... gods , I actually felt NORMAL there (in between these to fat guys who smelt like they haven't bathe in days from the constant reading of comics ). UGH. and they all look 40++ NO BISHIeS in sight ..... XD

I did some reading regarding the Anime society in the US. I just had a thought: maybe there were more "weird" anime enthusiasts in the US for the fact that their community is much larger than ours, thus in effect would have more unusual members of the community showing off their extreme side. I guess our conservative nature prevents us from blowing the lid off this rather unusual phenomenon... for now.

pero seriously, not that I want to be mean or anything, but I've seen (and met) some erm, anime enthusiasts who are like that sa conventions but nothing_ever_prepared me for meeting MOST of the anime enthusiasts sa cosplay/anime scene dito... kung nawe-weirdohan sa atin, mas weird yung mga dito, coupled with an attitude pa. susmaryosep >_<;

I think sa West coast kahit mas maraming cosplayers they're not that mean. Dito sa East coast may mga attitude problems! >_<;
