Umm.. no spoilers here please. I havent gotten the FFX-2 game. I am still waiting for the English version. Anyways, I just finished FFX months ago. I havent completed all of the characters' Ultimate weapons..I failed to get Kihmari's, Tidus and Wakka's celestial weapons.

sorry if the information spoiled you ... that was one of the reasons why i placed as a title Final Fantasy X & Final Fantasy X-2 as sort of a warning that anyone visiting the topic might get spoiled... anyway if you want to discuss about Final Fantasy X, i'd be glad to. Getting wakka's ultimate weapon is a lot easier than tidus' or kimhari's. goodluck on getting their weapons

it's alright. Maybe we could make a separate thread for FFX and FFX2? Or..maybe we could just put things like this:

================
*FFX2 spoiler alert*

.
add post here
=============

so whenever someone reads that spoiler alert, he/she may choose not to read the post overall. ^^

Yeah, they say that wakka's weapon is easy to gain..but I couldnt make it appear in the prize list of the Blitz tournament. I was getting impatient waiting for it and having to play so many blitzball games. lol

:D i like FFX and FFX-2, pero tulad ng sinabi ni ate, wala pa kaming game nun(FFX-2)... ;_; so...who's ur fave character in both games?

mine is RIKKU!!!!!!!!!! :P

ryanclive - May 27, 2003 05:52 AM (GMT)
Fave charas? Siguro si Lord Braska and Lenne of FFX and FFX2 respectively.

I haven't played both purely because I don't like the Final Fantasy series that much (And I call myself a gamer! Shame on me!). I dunno. Maybe I find it too... stereotypical?

But the game looks promising, if not great. I specially like the Class Change in FFX-2, where you can change the character's attack/defense/magic system by switching classes with other characters.

Some say there is some degradation with FFX-2. A lot of gamers are saying that Squaresoft has finally resorted to *pardon me for saying this* the "s*x sells* tactic, (point is...) the same formula used by Tomb Raider. On the other hand, I disagree with this since I honestly think the game is still on pace with other Final Fantasy games.

base from the news / rumors read from gamefaqs message board the translation of FFX-2 into English is pathetic.

Japanese---------English
====================
Result Plate = Garment Grid
Gambler Dress = Lady Luck
Quick Trigger = Trigger Happy
Uno And Sano (from le blanc's gang) = Ormi and Logos

Whew ....i guess a survive a pretty stupid translated version by having the japanese version :P

acewildgal - May 29, 2003 05:16 AM (GMT)
question: will they be using the same voice overs in the us version of x2? any news of translating the songs?

justa wondering. wag naman yung sen no kotoba.... :wub:

raistlin - May 29, 2003 05:23 AM (GMT)
they will be using the same *ugh* voices from FFX i only like a few of those voice actors/actresses though
