This proposal was written by a nation named Pr0g, in The North Pacific.

I have contacted both Magicality (The NP Delegate), and Blackshear (the NP ambassador to Canada), on the matter.


As you may know, this situation is strikingly similar to a situation that happened a few months back where a nation in the SP submitted an anti-Canadian UN proposal, which nearly shattered our ties to the SP.

I don't think Pr0g is registered on the NP's off-site forum....unless it's under a different name, we don't have their IP address.

We could either ask the NP, or approach the Mods of NationStates to run an IP check and let us know if the addresses match.

It would appear so. It's not there at all. Hopefully that in itself will send a message to leave Canada alone. People always slag off what they admire the most I guess.

I suspect it was deleted by the mods...same thing happened with chickenpants proposal.

I think it'd be entirely innappropriate for us to ask the mods of NS to disclose an IP address, for a regional conflict.

As for the NP, we'll find out if they know if he's on their forums, when either Magicality or Blackshear gets back to me on the matter.

Sorry Checkers - bad wording. I meant to say that we could ask the mods to run an IP check and if they match, take whatever action they considered appropriate to resolve the situation. Technically speaking, a Mod should never disclose an IP address or personally identifiable information as it's a breach of Data Protection. It's been a long day and my head hurts.

offtopic, but the flag theif has the delegate of TNP (magicality) on the NS forum. This is worth mentioning only because the flag thief is nortorious for bringing danger to whatever region it goes to.

What kind of danger has the flag thief brought to other regions?

I think s/he brings (possibly) new, unknown regions to light. Sadly, attacking groups use this information, and attack. It's not delibrate, as it's a joke on the main forums.

Hello nations of Canada.

On behalf of the North Pacific, I would like to apologize for the actions of one of our member nations. I would like to reassure you that this individual does not in any way represent our region. He is not a member of our offsite forum and was unknown to me until this incident.

I'm glad to see this distasteful proposal has been withdrawn. I have advised our delegate to withdraw her endorsement of this individual. Additionally, Magicality has proposed posting a message on our regional HQ advising our member nations of appropriate conduct towards our friends and allies.

I hope we can move past this unfortunate incident and continue our relationship of friendship and co-operation.

Attention UN Members & Nations of The North Pacific (NP)

Good Day! I write to you today to ask for your assistance.

UN proposals and resolutions are always being debated, formed and our region vote compiled within the UN section of the NP forum. I being Delegate will place my vote with the majority that do voice their vote in the forum.Those that wish to submit a proposal are asked to please post your proposal in the forum for debate before submission. Proposals written that are racist, inflammatory, against NS rules or flaming against another region are not acceptable. A recent proposal that the NS forum Mods deleted was inflammatory and racist against another region that we also happen to have an alliance with. This proposal was never brought before the people of the region at all before being submitted. NP nations that Flame or make racist statements or proposals against regions we are in alliance with will be put before the members of the forum for review and possible ban from the region. If this happens the nation will be notified and given adequate time to respond in the forum. Remember the proposals you submit reflect upon the whole region, give the members of the region a chance to voice their thoughts on your proposal before submission by working on it in the forum. Doing so will help to form stronger proposals that get support from the start and have a better chance of gathering votes.

You attention or help in this matters are greatly appreciated and are one more step in bettering the safety of the great region of The North Pacific.

I will be taking further efforts to insure the education and enlightenment of nations new and old with in the nest few days.

I have sent a telegram to Pr0g and informed him that this is a serious problem. I am awaiting his reply.

Please share this information with your region and let them know that with the recent appointment to Delegate I am working hard on establishing our government, region educational system and judicial system in hopes to help further prevent incidents of this type in the future.
