Title: Map of Canada?
jetstream - April 19, 2004 09:36 PM (GMT)
For some reason unbeknownst to me, I cannot access the map of Canada that you created. Basically, it says that the page doesn't exist whether I click on the link or if I copy and paste. What's up with that?

Hmm. I don't know what the problem is. Maybe you should contact MrPopo about that. It is a geocities based site. Clicking on it will certainly not work, but pasting it should (it is working for me now...)
Keep trying. If I have time tonight, I'll post a mirror of the map on my personal webspace, so you can access it.

I think it's maybe the engine being used. Or it's a server problem. You may want to ask MrPopo is he's hosting it from his web-space beacuse it seems like a bad link.

I found that if I clicked on the link provided I would get the 'page not found' message, but then I hi-lighted the URL in the address bar and clicked 'enter' and voila!
Then bookmark the sucker!

For those who are having trouble with the map, here is a
Mirror site..
You should be able to see it by clicking on the link. Be advised that it will not be as up to date as the original version maintained by MrPopo at:
http://ca.geocities.com/aras_seth/canada2working.jpg (which you have to copy and paste into your browser to see)

Bump!!
Umm, Popo, I haven't ONCE been able to see the map... it seems that Geoshite has limited your bandwidth, and I'm just unlucky enough to always click at the wrong time... can something be done??
This is the msg I get (every $*&#^%$ time):
This page is unavailable.
We're sorry, but this page is currently unavailable for viewing. Please try again later, or search Yahoo! GeoCities for other pages that interest you.

Just highlight the URL in the location bar and click enter, and it should show up.

The other option is to click on the hotlinks site at
http://www.geocities.com/bweezyca/ns.htmlThen click directly on the map link - it should show up because you are clicking from one geocities page directly to a geocities picture.

Yeah these boards dont seem to like my map, or webpage. But I have no trouble accessing the links if I copy them direct to my browser and press enter, rather than clicking the link.
If it becomes too much of a hassle I'll look into a foreign account. I'm not sure how to go about getting a .com though without paying big bucks.

Don't necessarily need dot-com...just need more space.
Anyway, I updated my mirror,
here.

Might I suggest bookmarking the link when you get it working, Bern.
It opens for me perfectly when I use my bookmarked link.
