The Republic of Clausenschtein is a dictatorship that harnesses the socially progressive, hockey-centric values of Canada with the early Napoleonic rule of France.

This combination bypasses the stable but slow democratic process in favor of radical, adaptive governance that, with good dictatorship, can advance in years what a democracy could only dream of in decades.

Clausenschtein's national animal is the koala, cute and fluffy, but viscious w/ retractable claws when threatened, a lot like Canada. The national sport is hockey, NOT lacross, and amerindians no longer enjoy any tax-free benefits, because white people stole your land hundreds of years ago, get over it.

Our currency is the sexual favor, and it's value on the stalk market is way sexier than the USD. This nation is relatively closed-off, with tight border security and anyone entering the country, citizen or not, is required to take an STD test.

This comes after the great exodus of 2002 where everyone with luggage diseases were exiled into the barren lands (ie, nunavut) so that everyone can have unprotected sex, because condoms suck. the patch and other birth control are sold over the counter.

censorship is nonexistant, marijuana is legal, and the community as a whole has a greater responsibility in the upbringing of all children as a collective, because isolationist child-rearing promotes conditioning of abnormal behavior and is more condusive to sexual abuse.

advertising has been banned in all forms and religion cannot be imposed or suggested. it can be chosen by an individual at age 18. The Republic of Clausenschtein, however, recommends Buddhism, because it's super chill.
