That most wondrous of times is once again upon us - Baseball Season!
What better way to celebrate than to launch a Canadian regional fantasy baseball league?
If you're interested in joining the NSCanada Fantasy Baseball League, simply follow the following simple steps:
1) Click
here.2) Press "Sign Up Now".
3) Sign into your existing Yahoo account (or make a new one if you don't have one).
4) Press "Join League" then "Join Custom".
5) Type in the league ID# (291398) and password (Carbanousa). Press "Save and Continue".
6) Pick your team name, avatar and e-mail settings, hit "Save and Continue" again and you're ready to go.
For the curious, you can find the League settings
here after you sign up.
Time is short (the season starts Sunday), so join up as soon as possible. I'll launch the auto-draft as soon as we seem ready. Hope to see you there.

Once the team is made, it is possible to make trades and switch your players from the bench to the starting line-up. Injured players can also be replaced. All this requires a controllable account.
Edit: I created an account and a team for Red. It didn't seem right to have a league without him.
The draft has been set to Ready. We should have our players any minute now.

There are no limits to the number of trades or player moves. There is an August 12 trade deadline though.

Thankfully I have a pitcher or two that knows what they are doing, or I'd be scoring a perfect 6 in the standings. You know your team is in trouble when the Back Street Boys produced more hits than they can! :P The dog days of summer and it is only April! :wacko:

My team's pretty disappointing as well. All those Cleveland snow-outs have affected 2 or 3 of my players. Hard to put up numbers when you don't play for a week. :no:
Of course, the constant shelling my pitchers are taking isn't helping matters either. I don't think my ERA could be worse if I had picked all Washington Nationals pitchers. :P
I'll put up the standings and stats here tomorrow next weekend for the more casual observers.
