Title: 1st set of immigration laws

Um, some of these items don't make some sense considering the game. eg:

"Wives of Canadian nationals not necessarily meeting any prolonged residence requirements..."

"Retired persons who have resided in Canada for over three (3) years..."

"In addition to the residence requirement, applicants are expected to submit the following:-
Valid National Passport
Evidence of financial status and means of support – e.g. particulars of pension, bank account, property owned and business investments.
Copy of Birth Certificate
Marital Status: Marriage Certificate – particulars of spouse, children and other dependents.
Medical Certificate: Certificate of good health
...
Two (2) passport size photographs
Reasons for seeking permanent residence in Canada
Give the names and addresses of references/acquaintances"

Notice I removed the police certificate bit, I can do that. It's a good idea. Telegram me if you want anyone checked out. It'll work, it just needs a re-write.

i posted these a while back when i introduced my country. feel free to leave comments and suggestions, or perhaps some alterations that i might take into consideration. these are only the first few sets of laws, more will be added soon:

Permanent Resident Status is usually conferred, on application to those
Foreign nationals who have lived in Canada for a minimum of two (2) years provided they meet certain criteria.

Applicants generally fall into one of the following categories, and each application is therefore treated on its own merit.
Wives of Canadian nationals not necessarily meeting any prolonged residence requirements;
Adults and minors who have claim to Canadian nationality without
meeting any residence requirements;

Retired persons who have resided in Canada for over three (3) years;
Persons employed in Canada after completing a period of residence of not less than five (5) years;
Minors who have no claim to Canadian nationality, but who have
Resided in the Region for a period exceeding two (2) years.

In addition to the residence requirement, applicants are expected to submit the following:-
Valid National Passport
Evidence of financial status and means of support – e.g. particulars of pension, bank account, property owned and business investments.
Copy of Birth Certificate
Marital Status: Marriage Certificate – particulars of spouse, children and other dependents.
Medical Certificate: Certificate of good health
Police Certificate from the State from which the applicant has migrated
Two (2) passport size photographs
Reasons for seeking permanent residence in Canada
Give the names and addresses of references/acquaintances

Permanent Residents are still required to be in possession of valid permits issued by the Ministry of Labour if they are engaged in gainful employment. They however, need not seek any further extension of stay, but must obtain a multiple re-entry visa from the Immigration Officer prior to any overseas travel.
All aliens over sixteen (16) years of age who expect to live in Canada for over six (6) months are required to register as aliens at a fee of $1,000.00.

Permanent Resident Status however, may be withdrawn if it becomes necessary, and if the Minister desires.

Lord of EA, Minister of Immigration.

This proposal doesn't really make much sense considering the scope of the game, ergo, this thread is locked.
