I would like to announce to the Region a bit of a sad item.

It recently came to Cabinets attention that we had a serious problem on our hands.

The ramifications of this problem could have resulted in our forums being deleted, thus I have dealt with the problem.

Senathia has been banned due to the fact that this user did not follow the Terms of Service agreements when they registered.

The Terms of Service state:

Senathia has been notified of their ban and have been informed that they are welcome to re-register a new account and have the proper people fill out a COPPA form and send it in to authorize them.

This is not something that Cabinet wished to do, as we like to be open to all people, no matter what their age, however, Cabinet is bounded by the rules that InvisionFree lays out and we must abide by them or face their consequences. We did not feel that it was proper for us to skirt the rules for one person if there was a possibility for everyone to feel the repurcussions.

Please note, Senathia was not ejected from the Region, only banned from the forum. Senathia is still a full member of the Region of Canada.

As a result of this ban, Senathia was forced to relinquish the Deputy Prime Minister role that had been bestowed upon them (pending a Vote of Confidence) and any other posts that the user might have amassed in their short time of being here that I missed.

I sincerely hope that this user does follow my advice and re-register with proper authentication. It is always nice to have a new person in the Region become active. I would like for them to return and continue on the activity roll.

This was unexpected, but the rules are the rules.

I'll have to wait a bit longer to find out if I was right about Tommy Lee Jones.

How exactly do we know his age though? Did he post it somewhere?

It was under his introduction of his nation. Good introduction I might add.
