Elections
Starting just after Christmas and ending on the 31st of December, our ~~hangovers~~ regional elections went ahead to select Canada's 15th Cabinet. Here they are!

Prime Minister: Carbanousa
Minister of Regional Affairs: 420 Celebrants
Minister of Defence: n/a
Minister of Justice: n/a
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Omnivorous
Minister of Doughnuts and Beer: Old Ogastein

The MoD and MoJ positions had no applicants, so the Cabinet is in a process of deliberation to decide whom to appoint. Current Ministers are choosing their Deputies as we speak, or you read, or quite possibly both.

Regional Happenings
Happy Birthdays and sizeable amounts of cake go out to Carbanousa and Jack_Tarr.

Hamsters spent Christmas in New Zealand (a short hop for a Aussie) and reported back briefly to say how much she was enjoying her holiday. Click here to find out what some of the natives thought about her :D

BCC tied the knot with her fiancee on New Years' Eve and received many slow cookers and other cooking utensils. An auction will be held in due time :P

A special mention must go out to King_Girl, who was voted "Favourite Diplomat" in The North Pacific's recent Awards Ceremony. News was greeted with many bouquets of flowers, yummy chocolates, lots of dancing and a pair of handcuffs...
