Title: The Armed Republic of NRPT
Slim_TG - December 29, 2006 03:19 AM (GMT)
Hail Non-Crappy Region, well, it better be non-crappy. I wouldn't want to see the greatest nation in the world tarnished in any way.
Newer to Nation states, as you can probably tell by my nation. Canada sort of clicked as I live there in RL. God's Country as I like to refer to it.
So, I was sitting at my desk wondering what to call my nation, what path to follow, what things I wanted from this insanely extreme political simulation ... :wall:
Well, NRPT was the best I could think of for a national name. I would like to call myself the vowel free nation. I particularly enjoyed this when I had the oportunity to vote on having the grammar police within my country B) Suffice to say, I have included vowels so that you can actually understand what I am saying. The national dialect is a little difficult to understand without vowels.
Wlcm 2 th grtst ntn n th wrld --- Not that easy to understand without those vowels I guess
Aside from that, you will not find me in the UN. My aspirations to obtain a politically volitile nation supported by a child labour force would conflict with world opinion I believe. It is also a little contradictory to abolish all political freedom and civil rights if I support an organization like the UN.
However, if I ever get these military might calculators to work :wall: I will likely be off supporting the Canadian military machine. A warm welcome from some of you already was appreciated and may the best nation in the world stand strong and free. Yay Canada :cananim:

WTC :cananim:
Please leave your sanity at the door as it will only get in your way around here.

Now that was one of the best introductions I've read in awhile.
Please do enjoy your stay here and if you have any questions at all, may they be about the Region, the forum or the NS game itself, don't hesitate to ask.
Watch out for hippos, birds and sheep though. They get thrown around here a lot. Especially during birthdays.

Thanks for that, appreciate the compliment.
I do have a quick question for ya, do I need to re-register on the forums if I want to create a second nation? I would prefer to use this account for two nations if that is permissable. I also read the part about using two accounts for voting, no worries there.

Welcome!
(Supposing that you want your current nation to be your main nation: ) Creating a second nation is often done by people who want to have a different mantra (i.e. one a democracy, one an anarchy) or like to be in different regions. They're generally called puppets
You won't need a new account for another nation in Canada.
(Regarding the UN, there is the proverb "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemy even closer", my reason for joining :P)

(Don't listen to her, what you really want to do is to give your Insane Root to me and Ellen, we'll take good care of it )

Please, for the love of Jebus, don't create a second account for your second nation.
Nor your third ... or eight-thousandth if you choose to have that many. Just keep the one you have now and feel free to add your NS nation information into your signature line or something.
So yes ... go with your preference. Tis a good preference to have!
