In truth I regret not having done this earlier.
I feel that I have been far too inactive for the standard that is required of Canada's cabinet. My personal life will undoubtedly remain as busy as it has been for the foreseeable future, therefore I cannot in good conscience continue as Minister of Defence for the remainder of this term.
I fully support Omnivorous as MoD since he has been more of a Defence Minister this term than I have been.
I'd like to thank Omni for having stepped up for me these past months without my asking him to. Several times he saw the need to get things done and did not hesitate.
I'd also like to thank Cabinet, not only for having shouldered the injury that occurred to our forum, but also for sharing the burden of duty that my inactivity created. Particularly to the other admin cabinet members, our PM Carb and our MoRA 420.
I'm terribly sorry for my delay in acting on my absence earlier.
Thank you.
p.s. I'll be officially surrendering my post Sunday afternoon.
You ... uh ... do know that elections start next week and the new Cabinet will be in place at the end of the month, right?
I don't see why you just couldn't stick around until then. If your inactivity was truly a big deal, believe me, you would have been recalled by now.
'Course, you are the master of your own domain ... do what is right for you.
Thank you for your service this term.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your DM this term.
