Internal Affairs.

Southland, as interim leader, has gone forward with a few actions towards bringing the region back to what he calls a 'fun and enjoyable' place.

First, the army has been reinstituted after a regional vote on the off-site forums. While there was some opposition, as usual, the majority was in favor of having/creating an Army. It is not clear, however, whether or not it will be a defensive or offensive army, as no laws have been passed or included in any of the drafts of the Constitution.

Second, in Constitutional news. The council has been closed off to the public, so a sometimes confusing debate is now taking place in mulitiple locations. This minor inconvenience has not, however, stopped the drafting of a statement of purpose, a bill of rights, and an article on the future legislature. For more info, see:

Third, an Investigation into the past leaders and their possible mistakes, for lawmaking purposes only has died in the water, or seemingly so. After a heated debate between Southland and Jivdom over what the focus and range of the investigation should be, an agreement was met. However, no further action has been taken, and Jivdom has left the region.

Fourth, spokesperson for the Worker's Party (the WP has no 'leader', it is rather a collective of like minded citizens who lead the party as one body) Love and Honour has requested the re-passwording of his party's headquaters. There has been some protest, by Old Zertaxia and Plaerah Blerrt.

Fifth, a new political party has been started by Dalleria, on his return to the GRA. He calls his new party the Sons of Liberty Political Party, and it's platform is:

"We believe in a strong democratic government.
We are strictly Centrist,we vote for the right man,not if he's Liberal or Conservative.
We believe that the citizens have the biggest influence on our region,we believe that DEMOCRACY is the way.And that the people should decide who their leaders are."

He has been joined by Dupitable and Truckmen, so his party is now official by past GRA law, though the applicability of that is up in the air.


Regional Population is 76 nations, up from last update by 8. After a drive by the government, the Delegate received enough endorsements for the password to be safely removed. The Delegate now has 16 endorsements.



Foreign Affairs


After some confusion, a new Foreign Minister has been appointed by the interim leader. Old Zertaxia is now the Foreign Minister for the GRA. He is going through the process of checking on each embassy to see if they are still active and making sure all regions are getting updates.
